I actually did it!!!!!!
I was actually able to canter without my couch guiding in front of me!!!!!!!!!!!!\^o^/
LOL I'm so happy that I'm sort of speechless~~
In case you don't know yet, I'm talking about horseback riding^^
So~ I had my riding lesson yesterday...
And everything went quite well!!--> I was quite surprised!!
The instructor that we suspected to be racist wasn't there, I guess that's why I could work better?
We had another instructor and she was very nice! She was patient, she took her time to explain, and asked for our feelings.
I like her A LOT better than the other one...
BUT
For some reason our captain has something against her...
(I belong to this "equestrian team" at my university and the captain is the one who organized these lessons.)
He simply just thinks she can't teach!!!!!!! Which I found quite bizarre because I thought she did a great job!
Apparently he was the one who requested the instructor last time, and according to him the instructor last time is "tough but way better than the one we just had"!
Well... I have absolutely no idea what made him say this... If I could choose I will for sure go for this nicer one!!!
First of all, I would like to ENJOY my time riding.
Second, this one did a pretty good job yesterday.
And the most important one is... I DON'T WANT TO BE SCOLD ALL THE TIME!!!!!
Anyway back to my excitement!!
I was finally able to canter on my own!!!!!!!!!!!!\^o^/
I know it's not that big of a deal, but it was a HUGE accomplishment to me...
It was quite funny in the beginning...
Although I said I was "ready", I was still pulling so hard on the reins!XD And of course my horse was confused at that point.
I had to remind me NOT to pull back the reins every time. >/////< Then I finally did it!!!!!!!
I am just so happy that I pushed myself and got over the fear I had.^^
Yes, there are still a lot of things that I should fix, but at this point I am very happy with myself.
And I really have to thank that horse!!!! He is just a sweetheart...
