An icon request and also a little on why Depeche Mode owns my soul
1. Icon request, well, I totally want an icon that says enabler on it. Like something silly, a picture of something ridiculous that someone else got someone to do, something like the scene where the kid puts his tongue on the frozen pole in A Christmas Story, or something as equally ridiculous. Any takers?? I would so totally love you forever for it. Or a picture of two people drinking, maybe Sam/Gene (or them doing anything ridiculous that Sam would never otherwise do or vice versa??)
2. I don't know about the rest of you writers out there, but I am totally influenced by what I am listening to in any given moment, while I am writing whatever it is I am writing. The fic itself ends up being a direct product of how the song or more importantly, the lyrics effect me. Depeche Mode gets everything across that I want to convey in the feel and imagery that their music presents. Angsty to the nth degree and just gorgeous and full of raw emotive stuff. So that being said, I am currently listening to In Your Room and well:
