Supernatural meets...Ghost Hunters?!?!?!?!..and some thoughts on Doctor Who...
Um, hello?? Just read in the latest EW that Supernatural (which comes back on April 24th, in case you want to know) is doing a reality show within a show tribute to Ghost Hunters! Do you know how happy this makes me? That one of my favorite tv shows would kinda lovingly spoof another of my faves is just made of yes, you know?
Holy shit, I have such a thing for The Master and The Doctor.....I mean, I am almost afraid to tell you how many times I watched the bit in Sound of the Drums, just now, where The Doctor takes the phone from Martha and says "I'm here" and then The Master says..."Doctor" in that voice, that voice, you know, the sort of voice that screams volumes with its one word. Oh yeah. And then after The Doctor replies "Master" and they cut to him practically quivering when he says "I love it when you use my name"...That scene does me in. I watched it five times just now, and I promise you, thanks to the wonders of tivo, that after I watch for the Janto goodness that is about to hit the net any minute, I will watch at least five more. Maybe ten....
I love John Simms, that role must have been sooooo much fun to play. And he and Tennant have smokin' chemistry. Shit, I hardly even noticed JB, and for me that is saying something. Really. Is it hot in here? And, I want that song....at the end...Must go find it on itunes.....
I can't take all this hotness. I might implode. I am almost afraid to look up Fragments now....
