The one that Jay was wearing at the beginning part of the episode, down in NJ (well, down for me being in MA, up for some of you of course). I loved the color, got to go check out their website now....What I really want is a TAPS hoodie, have wanted one since I first realized they sell them, but can never seem to justify the fifty bucks or so. Ah well.
That was a pretty good episode, that shadowy thing was weird on the thermal, hard to see at first but on second viewing, after knowing what I was looking for, I could really see it. It was nice to see that Tango's dad got him the case, the guys all seemed real thankful for that. I really like Tango, in fact I like all of them now, they have a great vibe as a team. It is so nice to watch without any drama.
I felt bad for that mom in the second part. At that point do you start to wonder if your kid is crazy? I think they gave her some great general advice about getting her to sleep in her own room and all that. It helps of course that they are parents themselves. You just never know with kids, you want to believe them, that they are seeing something if they say they are, but at the same time you might not want to think they are seeing anything. Once I was driving along the waterfront in Plymouth and Peter pointed to a window in what I think was a hotel, I can't really remember now which building it was. He asked me if dead people were real. I asked him why he wanted to know and he told me he saw a dead person in the window. I asked him if it was a skeleton, like a Halloween costume (this was in October so I thought for sure that is what he meant) and he said no, like a ghost. He then asked me if ghosts were real. I asked him what he thought. He said he thought yes, and that is why they had shows like Ghost Hunters. He said it didn't scare him, he was just surprised he saw it. Did he actually see a ghost? I don't know, maybe he did, maybe he didn't. He dealt with it alright, and I just sort of followed his lead. Wouldn't surprise me if he did see one, Plymouth just has that vibe about it. The only time I have ever seen anything out of the ordinary in my life was there at Brewster Gardens, which is just about my favorite spot anywhere. I was walking through one day by myself, Peter was at school and Nick at work, and I had my ipod on as I walked along the creek and I felt like someone was standing behind me, or more like approaching from behind me. I moved to get out of the way, figuring it was a jogger or runner or something, not unusual for that area, and out of the corner of my eye I saw a red and black sort of blur go by. That was it. No one was there. It was kinda weird. Plenty of times I have felt stuff, but never seen, just that one time. It is real close to Burial Hill, where the mass graves are, and it was heavily populated by the Wompanoag (I believe) once upon a time. This is the river leading into the sea at Plymouth Bay and it is where they would have fished, washed, drank....Holds a lot of spirit that place. There is just this amazing vibe to it, you know?
Anyway, gonna go upload Torchwood now, yay! It will take over an hour, so I likely won't watch it till the morning when the boy is off to school, but I can't wait to see all the Ianto : )
