Torchwood : Reset
I mean really, cuz I wanna know!! First off here, I loved that exchange between Ianto and Martha. I want them to sit down for tea and have some girlie talk, I really do! And the thought of Ianto in the red UNIT cap is just...Wow.
To the rest of it then? I actually had watched most of this episode online already, which I almost wish I didn't, but I can't help myself. I knew Owen was gonna die, I hated knowing it and I kept bracing myself for it. That being said, i know I won't stop with spoilers. I haven't watched any of next weeks yet or the one after but you can bet your sweet ass that I will be watching eps. 9 and especially 10 and 11, I mean have you read the spoilers for 11?? Yeah....
I love Martha, I wish she were a permanent fixture, like a recurring guest star or something on TW. I love the banter about The Doctor between her and Jack, and I adore how Ianto and her get along. I thought it was kick ass the way she got in that place undercover....Did anyone else think of The Lazarus Experiment on that one by the way? That would be one hell of a crossover...Anyway, yeah, I really liked her in the episode. It was nice to see Owen up his game a little because of her.
Tosh/Owen!! Poor thing can't catch a break, it killed me that he finally noticed that she wanted more than a group outing in the hours before he dies. Well to be fair, he didn't know he was gonna die, but still. Owen hitting on Martha was cute, and it made me wonder of course who her bf is. I am gonna assume it is the dude from the end of DW.
Not a lot of Gwen which was just fine with me. My hubby likes her and he laughs at me when I growl at her. Go figure.
It was a pretty good episode but I liked last week's Adam better. And today, spent far too much time on the DW fanboards arguing that I love Jack. Sigh.
I felt a little off with no new Supernatural this week, but how excited am I to have Ghost Hunters return?? Woo, Wednesday night baby!! It was awesome to see a full page add in Entertainment Weekly with Jay and Grant, I let out a very loud squee at that one. And in that same issue there is a full page review of season two of TW and I gotta tell you, I hated the review so much that I actually sent them an email pointing out the discrepancies and mentioned that the reviewer should at least watch a couple of episodes before putting pen to paper or whatever. Me, obsess much? Nah, why do you ask? There was a nice pic of John B wearing the second Risen Mitten though, haha. The man is beautiful.
