My original fangirl days are all coming back to me....

Holy hell, frikkin NKOTB is doing a reunion tour.  I can not lie, people, I just can't, I totally will and want to go see them!  No, bubble gum pop isn't really my thing anymore, and about six months after I saw them live the first time, I saw and fell deep in lost with rock and roll in the form of dripping with sin Motley Crue....But DAMN!  I remember how me and Michelle F. waited in line at the Orpheum for hours on end, lying to both of our parents about where we were, and finally getting fourteenth row to see them with Dino and Sweet Sensation, my first concert.  I was a mess, a giggling, teenage mess!  And I loved every minute of it!  Then I saw them 2 years later with Lynn and her mom, a present from her mom for Lynn's birthday, this time at Foxboro Stadium witjh Marky Mark and wow, that was something.  I mean, it all came back to me too easily, the screaming and giggling over my fave New Kid, which was bad boy Donnie of course, how could it not be.  I mean, I never stood outside their houses or anything, though I still remember precisely where each of them lived (ah, growing up in Dorchester, never a dull moment).  So yeah, me and Becci are gonna go and relive our youth and check them out.  Haha, it is too funny.

Speaking of DOT, man I watched Gone Baby Gone and wow, never seen a more accurate portrayal of the city where I lived.  I mean, I grew up with those people, not the ones in the movie really, but just the people in general, you know what I mean?  It was a real good, gritty movie, not a happy one really, but I really loved it.  I think all the genuine Boston/DOT accents did it for me.  I love me a good Welsh accent, but there is nothing like someone just sounding like home, you know?  I was at Disney World once at a Downtown Disney shop, talking to Nick who was one aisle over with Peter and this dude who worked there and was walking by stopped and said "Oh my God, what part of Boston are you from??"  He was from Eastie and he guessed I was from Dorchester, it was so funny.  Me and Nick both had our Sox hats on and the guy said it felt like home, us talking to him.  Said it was music to his homesick ears.  It was so cool!

And what else?  Let me see, I miss
dragonlit and I know she is having a fab time in Hawaii but I wish she would come home already!!

And *sigh* everytime I drink coffee now I think of Ianto, Is that bad?  Hehe, and I drink a lot of coffee....
