Weekend Update
Hey gang! Its 6pm here on the East Coast and I figured it was about time for another update. Nothing too new to report. I am still recovering from surgery but am healing nicely since the staples came out. I'm not in as much pain either which is good. I did end up dropping all of my classes for this semester because there was physically no way I could complete 2 and a half months of work in 2 and a half weeks, plus study for exams. I'm not that happy about the decision because it might mean an extra semester for me later on but at the time it seemed like what was best. This weekend hasnt been too bad for me and neither have the past week or so since Chris left. I've been kind of bored just being in the apartment though. Packing is no fun but I am almost done. I will finish the rest on Monday when Chris comes to help. I love my baby! He does so much for me and I dont know where I'd be without him. Like any other couple, we do have our share of fights, disagreements and such but we manage to get through them because of the love that we have for each other. Anyway, Thursday I spent the afternoon with my cousin Shannon and went to her son Noah's baseball game. Friday I rode to Myrtle Beach with them and then spent the night to babysit last night. I babysat a 2 and 6 year old and two 11 year olds. The 11 year olds were some help but I really thought I was going to pull my hair out before the night was over. It felt good to spend some time with them since I am going to be going to Columbia till August though. I've babysat pretty much all day today too and am spending the night again tonight. Tomorrow night though I will be sleeping in my own bed back on campus and then Monday I get to sleep in Chris' arms for almost a week! I cant wait! He lost his job the other day so now things are tight again and it might affect our visitation schedule a little but hopefully he will have some luck soon. I feel so bad for him. It seems like every 6 months right on the nose he needs to look for another job. Thats just our luck.....things start going good, we get into a routine and then everything falls apart. At least I was finally able to get some work for the summer. At first I wasnt sure if I was going to be able too or not but luckily one of the other Eckerds in town needed help and asked me. My normal store apparently has fired me without my knowledge and hired people in my place, so even though they said they could really use my help, they actually dont need it after all. Go figure. Anyway, I guess thats all for now. I'd better get back to babysitting. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend and if I dont get a chance to update, has an even better week. Until next time.....
