I've managed to get sick all over again. Yesterday, towards the end of my shift I crashed. Hard. We were slow, as usual, and I found myself napping in the 15 minutes we had between calls. I had such a high fever I sweat all over my desk. I couldn't afford to go home with all the days I missed so I put my name down on the VTO (Volunteered Time Off) list in hopes of getting sent hom early. With 15 minutes between calls they could have afforded to let me go, but the bitch in charge of VTO decided she wanted to keep everyone because it would make her stats look better.
And though I'm pretty sure it's because I'm sick I was beginning to get worried about some of my symptoms. Though most of them are common to a lot of things, I suppose all this reading on the early signs of pregnancy has gotten me paranoid. At first I figured the more of a big deal I make out of it the less likely I am to actally be pregnant. Let's hope this works out.
