Things are slowly shaping up in my apartment. I got my internet turned on today, and maintenance is fixing the things that don't work in my apartment, namely the water heater and air conditioning. Yay! I'm so excited for you! Think you could get me a discount with T-Mobile??? lol. JK. I really do need to see your place someday. I don't know when, but I need to do that. Or at the very least see some pictures of it. lol. I don't see why you shouldn't use the fireplace! Don't put the couch in front of it! It makes the room look cooler. Besides...it's bound to get cold enough for snow in Dallas once winter hits. Plus you don't have to use real fire wood! We don't. We buy those packaged logs where you just light the edge of the paper and away it goes!
