Arimidex
Awhile back I asked that those of you who are taking Arimidex, take the time to go to www.askapatient.com and post your feedback on Arimidex. My goal being to create a base of experiences, so that others who are experiencing debilitating side effects would be able to direct their medical provider to the data. Hoping that this will let providers see that a patient's symptoms may be related to the drug and appropriate treatment be given for the side effects. As I said then my goal is not to have the drug badly rated, just to enable people to have some data when dealing with their doctor and insurance companies.
Good experiences help as well as the bad ones. A range of experience helps people know that they are not alone. Ways of coping with the side effects, helps everyone who is directed to the data.
I believe that having this data out there is making a difference. I made my medical providers copies and went over some of it with them. Also I recently had to change insurance and asked a question of the online nurse. She directed me to this data base.
I just wanted to post for the new people in the group.
