So it's Monday night and once again I am posting a review for tonight's episode. If I had to rate this episode I would give it an eight out of ten. Was it a mind blowing, spectacular, leave you on the edge of your seat episode, not really. I mean it had it's moment and all with Steve falling off the building and getting hit by the car (Steve whumapge anyone) or Chin and his ass kicking moves but it wasn't the best episode I've ever seen. I have to say that I really enjoyed Catherine being in this episode. I really like her character and the balance she has with Steve so much better than Lori. Anyways on with the review.
Things I liked
-Who else squealed like a fangirl when Danny called Steve a topper. Guys, if you keep talking about your sex life on the show it's bound to be cancelled, or switched over to Cinemax. I'm totally in favor for moving to Cinemax. One of my top favorite Steve/Danny moments.
-Danny. All around best quotes of the night. Speaking in Russian (even if was just one phrase), talking down the suspect with a flip (still not sure how he did that), calling Steve a topper, and chastising Steve after he fell off the balcony. Each episode my love for Danny continues to grow.
-Max, as usual adorable.
-Danny and Steve as usual, wonderful.
-Chin. He's hot even without his shotgun and loved how cool he looked handcuffed to the chair. But I guess after you've had bomb strapped to your neck, handcuffs are nothing.
-Lori leaving. Sorry, I tried, I swear I did but she did nothing for me at all on the show. She brought no depth, no personality, no backstory expect for the few aspects she let slip. And that choked up scene on the end they tried to push on us. Please, seriously had to roll my eyes at that pathetic display of affection.
-Kono giving Chin advice on how to romance his wife. She's such a cool cousin. What would Chin do without her.
Things I disliked
-Governor Denning. Now I know he's supposed to be a hardass, douche-bag politician but he's seriously trippin. Or maybe I'm trippin because I'm really not all for bossy bastard bosses (alliteration at its best). Still, not sure if he could shut down a crime scene like that but if I'm wrong please let me know.
-Lori's scenes. Like I swear tried but outbidding Danny on his football tickets just to give them to Steve as a V-Day gift when we all know he's just gonna take Danny to all the games. Trying to inconspicuously blurt out her feelings to Steve before covering it up by talking about the rest of the team.
-There are probably more things I disliked about the episode but I can't think of them right now. If I read any other reviews and I agree with their dislikes I'll comment. Until next week.
