JASON SEES VIRGIL AS AN AGITATION. Virgil knows Batman's identity and this BUGS THE SHIT OUT OF JASON. He doesn't know why Virgil gets to know it. Why Virgil has that tie. A part of him aches to find out more, but at the same time, he'd much rather NOT. The fact that Virgil doesn't know Jason exists in his world really hits a part of Jason's core that he's not willing to admit. Deep down, Jason NEEDS to exist to Batman, after all. So everything that really matters about Virgil to Jason is through Batman. THIS SHOULD NOT BE A SURPRISE.

Max likes Dean a lot. She feels strangely comfortable around him, but then she realizes she doesn't know him that well and has to take a step back. It's the familiarity of his face and actions that get her a lot. Because how he deals with things is VERY close to how Alec does, and it really pings her a lot. She's a bit further past that than she was before, but sometimes she dwells on it and it really gets her. She misses people back in her world, but she's strong enough to get on alone. Dean is probably her most important person in camp, though, just because of the familiarity and the comfort and the fact that, quite honestly, she was reaching a point where she could be there for her friends with ease before leaving and not worry about going it all alone. Long sentence. But now that she's here, she needs new attachments! And stuff.

CASSHERN IS YOUSUKE'S BUDDY. He genuinely cares a lot for Casshern, and teaching him things, helping him out, and so forth ... It makes Yousuke feel like he's NEEDED, which is something he needs to feel. He doesn't completely get Casshern. But that's okay! Yousuke just wants to help him and do what he can for him. In time, he'll get more, but he's okay with being depended on for learning some things.

BONUS FOR BLUE: CASSHERN HAS KIND OF ROCKED BLUE'S WORLD. More when we thread more. But Blue is DEEPLY AFFECTED by Casshern's existence.
