So! This is rather (read: extremely) belated, but now is better than never. This is a general note to anyone threading with the animals of the Pet Shop! The information here has mostly been implied, but never outright stated, so the cast is fixing that. (read as: I like to type a lot) Part of this is me speculating, so feel free to leave questions

That said, Honlon will do a switchy thing much less frequently mid-thread (or at least not without warning) because teeny girl --> hugeass dragon will probably give a few other characters heart attacks. :'(

And there are exceptions sometimes, right? Like--people who can only see one form or the other. I forget whom this would apply to, though. Possibly the Sohmas.

I'm sure there are exceptions, but canon is confusing enough as it is on the appearance the animals take that going into that territory will possibly make my brain explode and leak out my ears.

Yeah uh. Sometimes the logic makes no sense! Say Honlon is destroying a room and takes out a chunk of the ceiling with her ... tail? Anyone who saw the giant dragon would know what caused that, but if you only saw the little girl it'd be ... a kid having a freakout as the room collapsed around her.

Also people who carry out a light adorable child in their arms which is in reality a huge horned horse. Or the ones that are actually tiny bugs that DO THE HOUSEHOLD CHORES--

REALLY, IS IT ANY WONDER THAT CUSTOMERS GO 'WTF' AT OUR ANTICS ALL THE TIME? I think not.

AND THERE'S THAT SORT OF LOGIC WHERE UH. D is carrying Totetsu in his arms, but the shadow shows T-chan standing next to D, leaning on his shoulder. Or like, the animal is lying on the floor, but the humanoid version is sitting against the wall in roughly the same space. Or grabbing onto a human with their "hands" but is actually using teeth.
