It's Finally Here ... From A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Jan 19, 2008 18:16

Well, I said I was going to post my fanmix, so here goes. As I have said earlier, this is a Star Wars fanmix that I have been fiddling around with for a while in my spare minutes, and that I finally finished up last Friday. Before I get to the cut, a bit of introduction and some warnings. The mix is a general Star Wars mix, but in reality, most songs are related to ships and/or from the NJO or LotF eras. Some of these songs are songs that I have mentally connected with SW for years, others were things I thought up in the last couple months, and a few were last minute additions when I was trolling iTunes for any last minute contenders last Friday. I had originally intended to make this mix short enough to fit onto a 80 minute cd, but it took a lot of cuts to get it down to 1.4 hours from the original 2.7. Only a few of the cuts I made were really difficult, but if I had to do anything else, it would break my heart. Still, if you wanted to put this mix on a cd, there is an easy way to do so that I will explain in my notes. This mix is, of course, a reflection of my tastes, so I warn you in advance that it is choc full of Yellowcard and Evanescence, but also a variety of other things. The songs are generally in chronological order, although where two songs "take place" at the same time or at fluid times, I used some artisitic liscence in arranging them. Below the cut, I will introduce the title of the mix and give a straight song list before diving into my notes. I warn you ahead of time.... these notes could end up being massively long. I put a lot of thought into making this cd, and I'd like to share what I was thinking. My notes will include, as per LJ fanmix traditions, lyrics, as well as the connection and some general blatherings. I do apoligize if there are any grammar or formatting inconsistencies in these notes, but they've taken me many hours to write. I hope you enjoy reading my thoughts, that you enjoy the mix, and that you comment with anything you want to say. (Except for "suchandsuch artist sucks"; I don't need that). I think that's all I need in a way of intro... except:

SPOILER WARNING: This mix, or more specifically the following notes, contain massive spoilers for plot after the movies. Specifically, these include major spoilers for the New Jedi Order, Dark Nest, and the Legacy of the Force. Proceed at your own risk.

Notes:

1. A Thousand Miles - Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker

And I need you/ And I miss you/ And now I wonder.../ If I could fall/ Into the sky/ Do you think time/ Would pass me by/ 'Cause you know I'd walk/ A thousand miles/ If I could/ Just see you/ Tonight/ It's always times like these/ When I think of you/ And I wonder/ If you ever/ Think of me/ 'Cause everything's so wrong/ And I don't belong/ Living in your/ Precious memories/ . . . And I, I/ Don't want to let you know/ I, I/ Drown in your memory/ I, I/ Don't want to let this go/ I, I/ Don't...

This is a song that I have long connected to their relationship, because I have loved it for so long. The lyrics should really can speak for themselves, so I'll just say that this song has an amazing tragic sweetness that I think is one of the defining qualities of Anakin and Padme's relationship. Seems very much to fit with Padme's character in RotS, especially if you've read the novelization.

2. Crawling - Darth Vader

Crawling in my skin/ These wounds they will not heal/ Fear is how I fall/ Confusing what is real/ There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface/ Consuming, confusing/ This lack of self-control I fear is never-ending/ Controling, I can't seem.../ To find myself again/ My walls are closing in/ (Without a sense of confidence and I'm convinced that's there's just too much pressure to take)/ I've felt this way before/ So insecure/ ... Discomfort, endlessly has pulled itself upon me/ Distracting, reacting/ Against my will I stand beside my own reflection/ It's haunting, how I can't seem .../ To find myself again...

This is a song I had pegged for a very long time as an Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader song. I think the connections are quite obvious, especially if you've read RotS. I like how the song delves into Vader's literal and mental discomfort in his new role and his struggles with his two selves.

3. Hallelujah - The Revenge of the Sith

Well I heard there was a secret chord/ That David played and it pleased the lord/ But you don't really care for music, do you?/ Well it goes like this: the fourth, the fifth/ The minor fall and the major lift/ The baffled king composing hallelujah/ Well your faith was strong but you needed proof/ You saw her bathing on the roof/ Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you/ She tied to to her kitchen chair/ She broke your throne and she cut your hair/ And from your lips she drew the hallelujah/ ... I've seen your flag on the marble arch/ And love is not a victory march/ It's a cold and its a broken hallelujah/ Well there was a time when you let me know/ What's really going on below/ But now yo never show hat to me do you/ But remember when I moved in you/ And the holy dove was moving too/ And every breath we drew was hallelujah/ Well, maybe there's a god above/ But all I ever learned from love/ Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you/ It's not a cry that you hear at night/ It's not somebody who's seen the light/ It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah.

This song doesn't lyrically match up as perfectly as others on this fanmix, but there is no way that it wasn't going to be on here. I first heard this song about a week after RotS came out, and so naturally I thought of the movie. I love the tragic beauty of this song, and I think it fits very well with the tragic irony that Anakin's rising to meet his destiny (at least at this point) was entirely to the detriment of the galaxy. The lines "I've seen you flag... broken hallelujah" always remind me of Padme's funeral scene, which is even more tragic if you've read the book. It is really difficult to follow the song with one narrator, so if you feel the need to assign one, you'll probably need different ones for different verses.

(A side note: If you're interested in making the cd, leave out this first three songs. They generally don't fit with the rest of the cd, but I thought they made a really awesome prologue/intro. Still, the next song also works great as a first track. )

4. Light Up The Sky - Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade

You're making a choice to live like this/ In all of the noise I am silence/ We already know how it ends tonight/ You run in the dark through a firefight/ I would explode just to save your life/ I would explode/ ... I can't find a wall to pin this to/ They're all coming down since I found you/ I just want to be where you are tonight/ I run in the dark looking for some light/ How will we know if we just don't try/ We won't ever know/ Let me light up the sky/ Light it up for you/ Let me tell you why/ I would die for you/ ... Let me make this mine/ I'll ignite for you/ Let me light up the sky just for you tonight/ Let me help you fly, you won't have time/ To cover your eyes or get your disguise/ They won't ask you why they'll just watch you die/ And it's still so hard to be who you are/ So you play this part and the show goes on/ But you've come this far with a broken heart/ You've come this far and you're broken.

I have, at various times, connected this song to a number of different ships (it is very romantic!), but upon reviewing the lyrics, I think this song fits perfectly with Luke and Mara. Mara's transformation to the light, a subject about which I have not much knowledge outside of that presented in Inferno, is powerfully conveyed in his song, while also mirroring the romantic themes.

5. Cut Me, Mick - Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo

I can't keep this together/ And I might lose this year/ Can't get through december/ And you know all my fears/ Some place somwhere behind me/ I walked right through the truth/ Truth is you're the one thing/ That always pull me through/ This troubled life I choose/ ... Can't keep this together/ (You are the one that I need)/ Can't stay sick forever/ (You know that I can still bleed)/ Can't stop this disaster/ (You bring me down from my cloud)/ Can't fall any faster/ You are the one that I need/ You know that I can still bleed/ Bring me back to life/ Bring me back to life.

This song is meant to refer to Han's grieving after Chewbacca's death, how it put his relationship with Leia on the rocks, and how she ultimately came to take on the role of copilot.

6. Autobiography - Jaina Solo

You think you know me/ Word on the street is that you do/ You want my history/ What others tell you won't be true/ I walked a thousand miles while everone was asleep/ Nobody's really seen my million subtleties/ Got stains on my t-shirt/ And I'm the biggest flirt/ Right now I'm solo, but that will be changing eventually/ Got bruises on my heart/ And sometimes I get dark/ If you want my auto, want my autobiography/ Baby, just ask me/ I hear you talking/ Well its my turn now/ I'm talking back/ Look in my eyes/ So you can see just where I'm at/ I walked a thousand miles to find one river of peace/ And I'll walk a million more/ To find what this shit means/ ... I'm a badass girl in a messed up world/ I'm a sexy girl in this crazy world/ I'm a simple girl in a complex world/ A nasty girl/ You wanna get with me/ You don't wanna mess with me/ .. I laught more than I cry/ You piss me off, goodbye.

This is kind of unfair, seeing as Jaina is the only character with her own badass theme song, but Jaina's my fave, so there you go. Timing wise, this song could really go anywhere on the mix, so this was really just an effort to separate from other Jaina songs. Oh, and don't forget about the shameless but awesome pun: "Right now I'm solo, but that will be changing eventually."

7. Look After You - Anakin Solo and Tahiri Veila

If I don't say this now/ I will surely break/ As I'm leaving the one/ I want to take/ Foregive the urgency but/ Hurry up and wait/ My heart has started to separate/ Oh, oh, oh, Oh, oh, oh, be my baby/ Oh, oh, oh, Oh, oh, oh, I'll look after you/ There now, steady love/ So few come and don't go/ Will you won't you/ Be the one I always know/ When I'm losing my control/ The city spins around/ You're the only one/ Who knows, you slow it down/ ... If ever there was a doubt/ My love, she leans into me/ This most assuredly counts/ She says most assuredly/ ... You've begun to feel like home/ What's mine is yours to leave or take/ What's mine is yours to make your own.

I have to start by saying: I looooooooooooooooooooove this song. As I was getting on with making the fanmix, I came to the realization that I had quite a few songs for various ships, both from old connections and more recent things that I happened upon. What I did not have, I realized, was a real, romantic A/T song. I did have the tragedy, but I needed some love. At some point, I remembered this song, and before even hearing it, I knew it was perfect. This song has a rare, and perfect, tone of sweetness and innocence. The lyrics, additionally, are able to convey the strength of their friendship and the tentative first steps in their nature. Still, the song progress to celebrate the love that would come to unite them.

8. Your Star - The Dark Journey of Jaina Solo

I can't see your star/ I can't see your star/ Though I patiently waited, bedside, for the death of today/ ... And I'm alone now/ Me and all I stood for/ We're wandering now/ All in parts and pieces, swim lonely/ Find your own way out/ ... How can the darkness feel so wrong?/ ... So far away/ It's growing colder without your love/ Why can't you feel me calling your name?/ Can't break the silence/ Its breaking me/ All my fears turn to rage...

For me, this is tonally the perfect song for Dark Journey. It does a great job, clearly, of conveying how abandoned Jaina is, and how the loss, particularly the strain on her twin bond, sends her spiraling into darkness.

9. Afraid - Jacen on Yuuzhan'tar

I look for you but I can't see your face/ Then I hear you the only thing you say/ I am afraid now/ Don't want to let you down/ I am the one who can't be saved/ The only thing I say/ I am afraid right now/ What if I can't get out/ What if I don't want to be saved/ This is me afraid/ Now there's no place like home/ To make me feel alone/ I see you everywhere I am and I remember/ How you ran out to hide/ But kept me close behind/ Following your every more so I'd remember/ (I look for you) but I can't see your face/ (Then I hear you) the only thing you say/ Is don't look for me you will never see/ And you won't hear me, you won't hear me/ Why do we keep this up/ Why do we live like us/ When there is nothing left to save/ Will you be afraid/ I am afraid right now/ You already let me down/ You are the one who can't be saved/ If only I could say/ I am afraid right now/ You never will get out/ You'll never let yourself be saved/ You are so afraid

I knew from the moment I heard the lines, "Now there's no place like home/ To make me feel alone/ I see you everywhere I am and I remember," that this song would fit with Jacen's experiences in captivity. Jacen talking to the apparition of Anakin was one of the most mind-blowing scenes in the whole NJO, and I think this song does a great job of conveying the Jacen of Traitor. If you remember, the ultimate conclusion of that scene was that what Anakin was saying was actually Jacen's thoughts. I actually figured out how to interpret the narration so that every line makes sense (that's everything but the first stanza above). So here's a guide to the color coding; even though the changes in narration are a bit confusing, I think they make the song the perfect match.

Red: Jacen speaking

Blue: Anakin Speaking

Green: Jacen speaking through Anakin

10. Who Knew - Tahiri Veila

You took my hand/ You showed me how/ You promised me you'd be around/ Uh huh, that's right/ I took your words/ And I believed/ In everything/ You said to me/ Yeah huh, that's right/ If someone said three years from now/ You'd be long gone/ I'd stand up and punch them out/ Cause they're all wrong/ I know better/ Cause you said forever/ And ever/ Who knew/ ... I wish I could touch you again/ I wish I could still call you a friend/ I'd give anything/ ... I'll keep you locked in my head/ Until we meet again/ Until we/ Until we meet again/ And I won't forget you my friend/ What happened/... That last kiss/ I'll cherish/ Until we meet again/ And time makes/ It harder/ I wish I could remember/ But I keep/ Your memory/ You visit me in my sleep/ ... I miss you/ My darling/ Who knew

This song was one I grew to like as I heard it on the radio and bought. I generally like Pink, but this song immediately stuck out from her work, because its so amazingly emotional. It took a lot of repeated listening to finally see the connection to Tahiri, but once I did, it overwhelmed me. This song, unlike the later "Whisper," is meant to convey the Tahiri of Dark Journey and the Enemy Lines books. I had actually fallen in love with this as a Tahiri song before reading Inferno, but the developments there certainly make the "last kiss" reference less bittersweet. Simply put, this song is absolutely amazing and moving; the last minute is one of the most emotional and powerful things I've ever heard.

11. Everything - Jagged Fel and Jaina Solo

You're a falling star, you're the get away car./ ... And you play coy but it's kinda cute./When you smile at me you know exactly what you do./ Baby don't pretend that you don't know it's true./ 'Cause I can see it when I look at you./ And in this crazy life, and through these crazy times/ It's you, it's you, you make me sing./ You're every line, you're every word, you're everything./ You're a carosel, you're a wishing well,/ And you light me up, when you ring my bell./ You're a mystery, you're from outer space,/ You're every minute of my every day./ And I can't believe that I'm your man,/ And I get to kiss you baby just because I can./ Whatever comes our way, we'll see it through, And you know that's what our love can do.

For a long time, I had another Jag/Jaina song, but this one is much better, and simply put: it fits them perfectly. Tonally, the song works really well for their relationship, and Buble's classiness totally fits with Jag's character. Plus, I love the line, "You play coy but it's kinda cute."

12. Whisper - Tahiri and Riina

Catch me as I fall/ Say you're here and it's all over now/ ... No one's here and I fall into myself/ This truth drives me/ Into madness/ I know I can stop the pain/ If I will it all away/ Don't turn away/ (Don't give in to the pain)/ Don't try to hide/ (Though they're screaming your name)/ Don't close your eyes/ (God knows what lies behind them)/ Don't turn out the light/ (Never sleep, never die)/ I'm frightened by what I see/ But somehow I know/ That's there much more to come/ Immobilized by my fear/ And soon to be/ Blinded by tears/ ... Fallen angels at my feet/ Whispered voices at my ear/ Death before my eyes/ Lying next to me I fear/ She beckons me/ Shall I give in/ Upon my end shall I begin/ Forsaking all I've fallen for/ I rise to meet the end/... Servatis a pereculum/ Servatis a maleficum.

Without an in-depth reading of lyrics, I had already pegged this song as a dead on for Tahiri. I must, however, admit that this is the one song on the cd that was inspired by a YouTube video. Having looked at the lyrics, though, I'm shocked by this number of specific plot connections. To do this day, Tahiri's experiences in the Force Heretic trilogy are some of my most vivid memories from the NJO. While this song clearly captures the darkness of this period (and does so beautfully), it also captures Tahiri's vulnerability very well. The last two lines, if you're wondering, translate as "Save us from danger, Save us from evil." I know its only Latin, but it's sung in the creepy way that could let you think its the Vong language. This is really the perfect ending to a song which otherwise perfectly captures every aspect of Tahiri's sorrow over Anakin, the results of her Vong shaping, and her inner, dreamlike battle with Riina.

13. Heaven - Mara and Luke

Baby you're all that I want/ When you're lying here in my arms/ I'm finding it hard to believe/ We're in heaven/ Oh, thinking about our younger years/ There was only you and me/ We were young and wild and free/ Now nothing can take you away from me/ We've been down that road before/ But that's over now/ You keep me coming back for more/ ... And love is all that I need/ And I found it there in your heart/ It isn't too hard to see/ We're in heaven/ Now, nothing could change what you meant to me/ There's a lot I could say/ But just hold me now/ Cause our love will light the way/ ... Now our dreams our coming true/ Through the good times and the bad/ I'll be standing there by you...

This song is by far one of my oldest Star Wars connections, and by far my favorite Star Wars ship song. I really can't say anything else; there are no words for how much I love this song and all the Mara/Luke awesomeness.

14. Umbrella - Jaina and Zekk

You have my heart/ And we'll never be worlds apart/ ... You'll still be my star/ Baby 'cause in the dark/... That's when you need me there/ With you I'll always share/ Because/ When the sun shines, we'll shine together/ Told you I'll be here forever/ Said I'll always be a friend/ Took an oath I'ma stick it out till the end/ Now that's raining more than ever/ Know that we'll still have each other/ You can stand under my umbrella/ You can stand under my umbrella/ ... These fancy things, will never come in between/ You're part of my entity, here for Infinity/ When the war has took it's part/ When the world has dealt it's cards/ If the hand is hard, together we'll mend your heart.

I guess the first thing I have to say is that I do not! support Jaina/Zekk. One night of ambrosia-enduced cuddling does not a romance make! This song is just meant to be about their friendship, placed here on the mix because of the increasing importance it takes in Jaina's life during the Dark Nest trilogy. The song also conveys how their relationship grows after Jaina cuts herself off from Jacen.

15. Taking Over Me - Tenel Ka and Jacen Solo

You don't remember me but I remember you/ I lie awake and try so hard not to think of you/ But who can decide what they dream?/ And dream I do.../ I believe in you/ I'll give up everything just to find you/ I have to be with you, to live, to breathe/ You're taking over me/ Have you forgotten all I know/ And all we had?/ You saw me mourning my love for you/ And touched my hand/ I knew you loved me then.

I like how this song adds an intriguing darkness to Jacen and Tenel Ka's relationship. Their relationship is, in many ways, a mirror of the obsessive powers seen in Anakin and Padme's love. I love way Amy Lee sings the lines, "But who can decided what they dream?/ And dream I do..." In many ways, theses two lines are enough to convey the loneliness of Tenel Ka's position, the conflict between her duty and her love, and the intensity of her love. This song is meant to be Dark Nest trilogy timed, but parts of it work with events in LotF, specifically Tenel Ka's earlier defenses of Jacen before she came to her senses.

16. My Last Breath - Mara Jade Skywalker

Hold on to me love/ You know I can't stay long/ All I wanted to say was I love you and I'm not afraid/ Can you hear me?/ Can you feel me in your arms?/ Holding my last breath/ Safe inside myself/ Are all my thoughts of you/ Sweet raptured light it ends tonight/ I'll miss the winter/ A world a fragile things/ Look for me in the white forest/ Hiding in a hollow tree (come find me)/ I know you hear me/ I can taste it in your tears/ ... Closing your eyes to disappear/ You pray your dreams will leave you here/ But still you wake and know the truth/ No one's there/ Say goodnight/ Don't be afraid/ Calling me calling me as you fade to black.

You know, I didn't actually start crying during Sacrific until I got to the part with Luke feeling Mara's death. Then I just sobbed for like 20 minutes. This song is just generally tragically beautiful (which I seem to be saying about a lot of songs on this mix) but it also has some nice plot-specific connections to Mara's death and family.

17. Fighting - Luke Skywalker

Said I'd move on and I'd leave it alone/ But before I walk out there is something that I need to know/ I got lost in the blink of an eye and I could never get back, no I never got back/ ... Now I've got to go it alone, but I will never give up/ No I'll never give up/... Said I'm okay but I know how to lie/ You we're all that I had; you we're delicate and hard to find/ Got lost in the back of my mind, and I could never get back, no I never go back/ You were not there when I needed to say/ I hit the bottom so fast that my head was spinning around for days/ Now I've got to go it alone, but I will never give up/ No I'll never give up/ Said that I'd fight for the one that I found/ I'm gonna stay here while I wait for you to come around/ I fight you're a part of me now, and I will never give up/ No I'll never give up...

A wonderful song to encourage Luke as he continues to kick Jacen's ass.... On a slightly more serious note, this is great song for conveying Luke's simultaneous determination and devastation after Mara's death.

18. Lacrymosa - Leia to Jacen

Out on your own/ Cold and alone again/ Can this be what you really wanted, baby?/ ... Now that you're gone/ I feel like myself again/ Grieving the things I can't repair and willing.../ To let you blame it on me/ And set your guilt free/ I don't want to hold you back now love/ I can't change who I am/ Not this time, I won't lie to keep you near me/ And in this short life/ There's no time to waste on giving up/ My love wasn't enough.

This song really only works if you interpret the sarcasm/insincertity in the lines, "Blame it ... free." This song is, rather simply, meant to express Leia's decision to not try to rationalize her son's actions or to help him, her tragic but necessary disowning of him.

19. Life of a Salesman - Ben Skywalker

What's a dad for dad?/ Tell me why I'm here dad/ Whisper in my ear that I'm growing up to be a better man, dad/ Everything is fine, dad/ Proud that you are my dad/ Cause I know I'm growing up to be a better man/ Father I will always be/ That same boy that stood by the sea/ And watched you tower over me/ Now I'm older I wanna be the same as you/ What's a dad for dad/ Taught me how to stand, dad/ Took me by the hand and you showed me how to be a bigger man, dad/ Listen when you talk, dad/ Follow where you walk, dad/ And you know that I will always do the best I can.

The rift between Ben and Luke middle of the LotF series was tearing me up, but now at least its resolution is the one good thing to come of Mara's death. Connections here are beyond obvious, but I love the "watched you tower over me" line; it's very fitting for the massive shoes Ben has to fill. Also, the title is cutely ironic -- as the books are always keen to point out, Luke is so the antithesis of the average salesman.

20. Five Become Four - Han to Jacen

I'm riding it out/ This storm that you brought in/ Bringing it down on me around for you I go again/ It's got to be, easy to see/ What everyone takes out of me/ Knocking me down, dragging me out/ How did you end up in that crowd?/ Did you run away, did you fall apart/ Do you see yourself for who what you are?/ Will you be looking for it anymore/ When five becomes four?/ When you're all alone with a melody/ Do you close your eyes and thinnk of me/ Will you still hear me singing anymore/ When five becomes four?/ Try and put aside your history and pride/ Maybe for one moment in time we'll all be on your side/ The story goes nobody knows/ What it was like when you would throw/ Someone who cared out in the air/ Then let them crash down anywhere/ Remember the line never say die/ You were the reason I survived/ Where did you go I need to know/ I waited her you never showed/ Its gonna be harder of mer/ I can't forgive so many things/ When you were down I was around/ Why would you try and hurt me now?/ Just tell me why....

Poor Han, Jacen really did turn out pretty crappy. It was one of the saddest, shocking moments for me when he said they should have dropped Jacen out the medbay window. Sad pandas... Anyway, I was originally thinking "five becomes four" being Anakin's death, but this song really works much better for Jacen. Plus, Anakin can still be a member of the Solo awesomeness clan, Jacen is barred forever.

21. Bombers - The Sword of the Jedi and Darth Caedus

This is the deepest cut I/ Think I have ever felt/ These are the things I think but I will never tell/ I'm trying to walk these bridges/ Burning beneath my feet/ Well I am an echo I am heard but never seen/ These are your hearts/ Like bombs they're coming down/ They're falling on me now/ And this is my last try/ Got one thing left to prove/ There's a bomber in me too/ This is a mirror image/ Of everything I'm not/ Always reflecting what I've learned but was not taught/ If I could make things different/ If I could press restart/ Then I would hold back every breath that went too far/ ... Sometimes I feel like I am working in the dark/ Collecting names, collecting all abandoned hearts/ And if you're one that I have missed along the way/ Then I'm rehearsing all the things I'd like to say/ This isn't easy for me/ This isn't easy.

The song speaks to the difficulty Jaina has in watching her twin turn to the dark side and dealing with the legacy of broken hearts he has left behind. The song also speaks to her determination, after Mara's death, to turn on the "no-nonsense" Jaina. And, if you've seen the cover of "Invincible," you'd probably think that there is a bomber in Jaina, too.

22. One More For Love - Han and Leia

There's paper promises and alibis/ There is certainly uncertainty in all our eyes/ But as long as you are here I'll be alright/ ... There's always blood to fill the heart betrayed/ And there are children being born to every house that's raised/ And we're getting closer to where we got it made/ As we roll on tonight/ ... If there's a doubt, we will be strong/ As we go on singing/ Once more for love my love/ One more for love.../ I'm never going to wait for anything/ Never going to break for anything/ Cause I am one more fo love my love/... And all and all you're all that's on my mind tonight/ As we roll on...

This is a sweetly tragic, but also hopeful song, which I think beautifully convey's the strength of Han and Leia's relationship in the face of all the losses they have faced. I also think this is thematically a great ending for the whole fanmix.

Well, that's it. Please share any thoughts and enjoy!
