Santa Cruz - January !!!
LJ has been giving me problems so we'll see if this entry even goes through. Obviously, if you're reading these words, it did.
Hmm, good break. I didn't really get caught up on work like I said that I would, but it was much better just to enjoy being home for a little while. Got to eat sushi and fish and pizza and drink wine every night, there are REAL Starbuck's at home, and a distinctly different feeling than small town PA. Brought back all sorts of goodness, makings for soy chai tea, wasabi peas, juices, and some other snack items. I ♥ Trader Joes. Speaking of which, I got to see I ♥ Huckabees. Yay!
This weekend was amazing, always a pleasure to see peoples again. And get into all sorts of trouble, I guess you could say. ^___~ Monday I drove down to camp and got to hang with Allie until the rest of the staff got back a few hours later. Got to, briefly, see Rob and I didn't cry! *proud* Got to see the lot of the fall staff, INCLUDING Mr. I-Resemble-Johnny-Depp. Mmm mmm good.
Back at school now, playing SCUBA Steve. Yes, I am taking a class to become certified in scuba IN THE MIDDLE OF PENNSYLVANIA. Weird, right? Yeah. It's really awesome but there's a lot to learn. Needless to say I'm blowing off all of my other work to prepare. Probably not good. Meh.
