26 - From People Magazine: Chris Kirkpatrick doesn't mind that fellow 'N Sync star Lance Bass thought he was gay when they were younger.
"I think it's awesome that Lance thought I was gay while we were in the band together," Kirkpatrick told PEOPLE Friday in Chicago at Underground for a party to raise money for the charity After School Matters. "He's been going through a lot after coming out, and we respect that and give him his space."
In the November issue of GQ magazine, Bass said, "We thought Justin [Timberlake] was gay because he told us he wanted to do a gay part in a movie….We thought Chris [Kirkpatrick] was gay because he used to hang out with a choreographer."
26 - From Lance’s MySpace: Could I "BE" more happy!!

I just had to come on here real quick and say how AMAZING this tour is going. I LOVE LOVE LOVED meeting all of you who came out to the signings. I am in Miami now, and about to head to this signing. Everyone has been so great, and you seriously make me smile!
I do have to say I am missing performing with Hairspray. George Wendt (Norm! from Cheers) is now playing Edna. I have not been able to see him yet, but hearing amazing things. Can not wait to hit the stage with him.

31 - From E!Online: Lance Bass: The Gay Divorce’
Of all the members of 'N Sync, who would have guessed that Lance Bass was the first to take the marital plunge?
But the former boy-bander has revealed exclusively to E! News that back in "like, '99, 2000," owing to "one of those crazy moments," he tied the knot with a girlfriend after a wild night in Sin City.
"People do stupid things in the heat of the moment. I've been in Vegas where I've gotten married for, like, five minutes," he said. "No one talks about that though."
Bass, who announced his homosexuality to much fanfare last year, declined to name his his former missus, only IDing his bride as "just a friend of mine."
"You know it was one of those crazy moments where you're with a friend and you're like 'Hey, wouldn't it be fun if we did this?' and that's all that happened. It's the Vegas thing to do."
He said that his decision to swap vows was simply the means to an end-that end being to snag some comp'd booze.
"In fact, the only reason we did it is because we wanted to get free drinks all night. And we didn't get one. We're like, 'We just got married!' They're like, 'Ah. Whatever.' "
Bass declined to go into details about when or how the marriage ended (we're guessing an equally quick annulment), but he did say that the nano-nuptials didn't sour his relationship with the former Mrs. Bass
"We're friends," he said. "It's great."

31 - From JC’s MySpace: Happy Halloween!
So I've been in and out of the studio a lot lately, working with all kinds of different artists, producers and writers. I had a couple sessions with James Bourne, who was best known for his group multi-platinum selling group "Busted". He is also a great writer. We worked with Sparky's Flaw, Will Anderson (lead singer of Sparky's Flaw), and producer Jimmy Harry.
I also headed to Santa Monica to meet up with Mark Hudson. He produced albums for Aerosmith and Ringo Starr. You might have heard of them ….lol. Anyway, we did a few songs together.
At night I ventured out to a couple events. I have to say I saw Kanye perform at the T Mobile party and I thought he gave a great performance. At the Rolling Stone Event I mingled with their publisher and said hello to Chris Brown and Janet Jackson. Dallas Austin flew in for fashion week so we ran around partied it up. Dallas and I went to see Pharrell and Fall Out Boy perform and Fall Out Boy did an amazing remake of Beat It.
And last on my list of fun things I did this month…… I started taking Salsa classes, and No I'm NOT doing dancing with the stars.
Happy Halloween - Be safe!

15 - From Reichen’s MySpace: Star Magazine and The National Enquirer (Reichen) Lawyer Articles
In response to all of the MySpace email I am receiving surrounding this matter…
Please do not take literally the stories running this week in these particular magazines about me and my ex-relationship. No one is suing anyone, and all is well.
I chose to NOT fight back against the slander, fed to the media by my ex-relationship, by using my own gift of a voice in the media, as a way to air my own many and very strong personal feelings about my past relationship.
Instead, my representation, in an act of concern, simply sent an appropriate letter to those responsible, asking that attempts to paint me in a negative light with blatant and unnecessary lies and deceit, please stop. It ends there. Nothing else is happening.
The request is simple. It is my wish that my ex-relationship discontinue referring to me in the media in association with expressing his personal feelings about me, that he discontinue attacking my current relationship(s) in the print-media and, more than anything, that all events, including the drama surrounding them, from that year of my life, simply go away. I choose to no longer pay attention to it.
These and various previous slanderous remarks about me are invalid, false, and meant for damage, and are being used in an attempt to sway public opinion in the favor of another’s image in an unfair way. I prefer to no longer be a part of these attemps. I prefer to be removed from any such plan to promote another.
For my own peace of mind, this is a time that I would like to forget ever happened.
The relationship in question, and the drama that surrounded it, destroyed much of what I have worked to accomplish and stand for, what I’ve worked to be associated with, and how I am viewed as an individual. I could have never imagined the severity of damage such a relationship would inflict on me and those around me. It is up to me to ask that efforts to continue this type of negative impact on my life discontinue, which is what I have done, through my representation.
My final wish, surrounding this matter, from an overall outside perspective, is that I am no longer associated with this ex-relationship or the people involved in prolonging its existence, and that I’m no longer associated with that time of my life, in general. I do, however, continue to wish all those involved-the very best in their own lives, away from mine.
I stood as my own person before all of it (when I was not considered “so-and-so’s boyfriend”), and will be much happier to be considered, and to consider myself, someone who stands on his own, once again.
Thank you,
-Reichen

Pop sensation Justin Timberlake and his actress girlfriend Jessica Biel were "blown away" by their traditional Maori welcome to Aotearoa on Thursday night.
The SexyBack singer spent Thursday afternoon practising his golf swing at Northland's exclusive Kauri Cliffs golf resort, before heading to the powhiri in Auckland, performed by the Tira Hoe Waka group.
The 30-strong kapa haka group were impressed by the famous couple's down-to-earth nature, and over the moon at Timberlake's generosity in gifting them 50 free tickets to his Friday gig.
"Justin wanted to see the 'Ka Mate Ka Mate' haka, so we incorporated that into the welcome," Kylie Poihipi, who was Timberlake's usher, said.
"He was scared as [radio DJ] Stacey [Morrison] and I ushered him towards the kapa haka group. He asked, 'Are they going to kill me'? We explained that we had to see if he came as a friend or an enemy. He said, 'I come in peace'."
Morrison and her Maori TV presenter husband Scott were asked to organise the welcoming party for the superstar at Auckland's Viaduct Harbour. Morrison had printed flyers for Timberlake's 100-strong crew with explanations of Maori tradition and expected behaviour.
"After we made our traditional speech of welcome Justin responded," Scott Morrison said. "He said 'kia ora' a couple of times, and said he was really amazed by the performance, and humbled by the experience. We insisted he sing a song - as tradition expects us to do - and he started singing, You Are My Sunshine. He sang it alone for three lines before his crew joined in."
Timberlake and Biel mingled after the formalities, much to the Kiwi group's delight. Biel admitted she had seen a powhiri before but felt it was too touristy, Poihipi said.
"Jessica was awesome and we loved showing them how us Maori roll in Aotearoa," she added.

"I was a little nervous coming back," Bass said. "I had to visit my vocal coach about an hour ago to make sure my voice was in shape. I didn't know if my voice would be like it was, but luckily, it's actually better than it was before, so maybe my voice needed that rest!"

15 - From the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Chris Kirkpatrick thinks he has a way to ensure the Steelers winning seasons: Invite him to sing the National Anthem every year.
"I sang it three years ago, and they went 15-1," he says. "I sang it the next year, and they won the Super Bowl. Last year, they didn't invite me."
And last year, the Steelers went 8-8.
Kirkpatrick, the former 'N Sync singer who was born and raised in Clarion, Clarion County, again will sing the anthem Sunday prior to the Steelers game against Jacksonville.
"I grew up watching all the Pittsburgh sports teams," says Kirkpatrick, who has lived in Orlando since 1990. "Now, I've gotten to go to the Super Bowl and to sing the anthem (before a Steelers game). It's like my contribution to the team."
Kirkpatrick, 36, contributed to another type of phenomenon when he was in 'N Sync. With bandmates Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Lance Bass, he experienced a rarefied success and recognition he could not dream of growing up in Clarion.
The financial awards were nice -- the first thing Kirkpatrick did was buy his mother a house -- but the other aspects of fame were not as appealing.
"It was really difficult, because I did grow up in such a poor atmosphere, in a blue collar town where all my family worked at a glass plant," he says. "And then, suddenly, I'm thrust in the spotlight and I'm hanging out with celebrities and people who have been well off all of their lives. It was very uncomfortable, because I never felt like I belonged.
"But at the same time, if it wasn't for this, I wouldn't have had the house for my mom; I wouldn't be able to make music all the time. It was definitely not my social scene."
Kirkpatrick feels more at home in Clarion, where he has a large extended family. Some of his favorite memories are of family gatherings where music was prevalent, especially at Christmas time.
"My grandfather was in bands; my great-grandmother was in Christian bands," he says, noting other family members also have been musicians. "It was always fun for me to watch them when I was growing up, and it was natural for me to fall into it. Seeing my aunts and uncles doing it made me want to do it, seeing how much they enjoyed it."
Noting his aunt, Marcy Eustice, and her blues band Strange Brew, Kirkpatrick quickly adds that he's probably "not even in the Top Ten" when it comes to the family's vocal talents.
Currently Kirkpatrick is gigging with a new band, Nigel's 11, that he hopes to further develop in 2008. He's also in the process of establishing a foundation, which he hopes will provide aid to young musicians.
"When I grew up in Pennsylvania, we were really poor," he says. "We went through a lot, with welfare and other things. For me, to be so blessed with what I have now, I want to give back to other kids who might have grown up in (Clarion) or even down here in Florida. I want to be able to say, 'I've been through what you've been through; just keep doing what you're doing.' I want to try to help them out in little ways, with food or electric bills. There are definitely a lot of impoverished and underprivileged kids (with talent)."
16 - Chris sings the National Anthem at the Steelers football game in Pittsburgh
16 - Timberland leaks Madonna and Justin’s song “4 Minutes to Save the World” at the Jingle Ball in Philadelphia

18 - From the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: The GBB got a chance to spend a little time with former 'N Sync-er Chris Kirkpatrick before he braved snow and windgusts to belt out the national anthem prior to Sunday's Steelers game. Boyfriend can sing, too!
As far as the game's outcome? We ain't going there today.
But Chris, who grew up in Clarion a die-hard fan of the Black and Gold, is cool people and much cuter in person.
While we were hotter than July after walking over to Heinz Field, Chris kept toasty wearing a scarf, Steelers jacket and knit hat while we talked in the lobby.
"I get to Clarion and Pittsburgh probably about four times a year," he said. Believe it or not, he drives up from his home in Orlando. He said it's just easier to get around and also, since he has a big truck, there's room for all the goodies that his grandparents load him up with when he's in town.
Chris' grandma is a HUGE Jerome Bettis fan. "She made me read Jerome's book," he said.
Whenever he and his boy bandmates were in town, he said, they'd have a huge cookout and some of the Steelers would come through, including Jerome and former QB Kordell Stewart.
But what's he been up to since he, Justin, Joey, Lance and JC all decided to do their own things?
"I've been doing a lot of producing and writing," Chris said. He's got a band called Nigel's 11 and he thinking about touring with the group, possibly next summer.
"It'll be fun to get out and play music. I've been holed up in my studio writing."
There's also the burgeoning Chris Kirkpatrick Foundation, which aims to help some less fortunate youngsters who are interested in music.
"We didn't have a lot of money and we were real poor," he said. Ironically, it was the youngsters from the more affluent school districts who received the music scholarships, he said.
"It's the old saying, the rich get richer, so I'm going to try and change that."
Believe it or not, NSYC was not the first group Chris was a part of. After moving to Orlando to live with his dad, he began studying music at community college and then at Rollins College. He eventually met boy band Svengali, Lou Pearlman, who told Chris he had a lot of money to back a group. Of course, Lou's in a whole lot of hot water right now over charges of investment fraud and some other stuff. But we didn't get a chance to ask Chris about that.
"I put together a few groups with Lou and they didn't work out," Chris said. "Guys would quit."
How did he help form the group that did work? "I knew Joey and Justin and Justin knew J.C. and Lance," he said.
"We all love music and we also just had a great, great work ethic."
Chris recalls going to Europe where the group had gold records before anyone knew their names in the U.S.
"We land in Europe and there'd be kids everywhere," he said. They had to have security. But coming back to the U.S., their parents would forget to pick them up from the airport. Of course, they eventually became a boy band phenomenon.
"We went from nothing to craziness to back to nothing," he said. "We were really just kind of burned out for a while. We all had things that we wanted to do. It was fun and it was cool to get to have some time to ourselves. It's been fun to be able to branch out."
