It was a looong drive up to Marquette, and the most interesting part of that drive was taking a 30 minute detour returning a dog to it's owner *or people who knew the owner at least*. Odd, you ask. Oh ya, people up here do sure love their pasties. They serve them in the dorms from time to time. If you didn't see an alert or anything, I left a message about how happy I was about you getting into NMU in your previous journal update. I am glad you enjoyed the UP. Can't wait to see you! -John

I'm glad to be coming up there too! Downtown reminds me a bit of downtown Chattanooga, what with all the old buildings and the campus at the centre. Only thing, Mqt is like a mini-Chatt. VERY TINY. let's see, Chatt. on last census, had about 155,554 people, while mqt had about 19,000. Chatt. has about 143 square miles, Mqt. has 19.
