RIP Loki, Welcome Erestor
Well, about 2 weeks ago, my betta, Loki, passed away. It was sad to see him go, but he lived a good life. Now, I have a new betta. It's also a male, and I've named him Erestor *in continuing with my brother's tradition of naming our bettas after Lord of the Rings characters, the first being Pippin*. He is a lot smaller than Loki was, and I'm guessing he is a lot younger. But, he is a beautiful thing. His head and part of his body is ink black, the rest of him is a gorgeous blue. He has a small bit of red on him on his lower fins, but that is it. He's even inspired me! A friend asked that I do a picture for her for Christmas *last minute heads up,but okay*. So, since her betta also just past away, I'm doing a person based after Erestor's colours with a betta behind him. Flowing hair and clothes to remind one of the fins of a male.
Now, if I could just get Erestor to stop being picky when he eats. I got him bloodworms for a treat, but he wants only those, not the pellets. Grr.
It should be noted, that no, the right and left sides are not different shades, but the same. There just happened to be a strong light next to it. But, the fish looks so AWESOME!!!!!!
