Peach Tea looks like Bourbon in a Glass

My recent shenanigans:

I went to Williamsburg to celebrate July 4th. It was pretty rowdy and patriotic and extremely hot. Humid and muggy and completely awful. On the other hand, it was amusing to see historical interpreters, which are my absolute favorite people ever. There were gun demonstrations and horses and chickens and general epic. I dicked around the gift shops with their toy guns by pretending I was Davy Crocket and shot nothing at nothing. I had gone over a decade ago and suggested the place when my parents wanted to know where I wanted to go for vacation, so here we are.

It rained so the fireworks were nonexistant.

Generally it's been pretty hot and I've been spending free time playing Harvest Moon instead of inking in a Long Walk fanart or continuing my Long Walk fic/starting fics I want to write. My "working" time has consisted of walking long distances in the heat looking at recreations of old houses/battlefields/villages/etc. On the good side, I've seen how adorable little children can be and have feasted my eyes on old swords and guns, so hopefully this lends itself to a fic in the future.

I experienced my first sushi train yesterday. I snatched like a hungry fanfic author who eats nothing but corn chips all day. My family and I ate about ten pounds of suhi between us. This has been a trend, unfortunately: I walk off calories and pounds and gain them all again at dinner with pastas and sushi.

Lipton does the best cold teas ever. Citris green tea? Peach/raspberry iced tea? Tasty liquids, I swear. Probably full of sugar, which I shouldn't be indulging in but do I care? No!

sentimental crap, life
