I don't know if such a thing exists as a running zone but I'm pretty sure I reached it today on my run!!
I was feeling hungry and lazy when I started but after the initial startup (I use intervals that switch between short bursts of walking with running) I was feeling really good so I ignored the walking portions and ran for a good straight ten to twelve minutes. I took a brief walk around a cul-de-sac because I felt my breathing was becoming irregular and ran for the last ten minutes despite the start of those ten minutes being complete hell. But afterwards I felt like I could have kept running for at least fifteen more!!! So if I've reached the top of a running plateau I'm really excited!!
Running felt super rewarding today!! It's extremely motivating since my runs last week and the week before were really hard.
