I finally got around to actually looking up 'renticent' after one of my superiors made the comment that I seemed "confident but renticent" at work.
It means more or less that I don't really show my feelings.
Which is ironic because those who actually know me will say that I wear my feelings on my sleeve, along with the stereotype that Asians are the quiet workers who are Ice Queens.
I didn't know what the word meant at the time and to avoid looking ignorant as I am a college intern, I just stared back and him and shrugged with a blank look on my face.
