[postcards/ooc] A slow return.
[Early in the morning, several postcards were send to one Emiliana, Ivan, and Alfred (and a secret one to a special recipent). They were marked with no return address, no sign of where he was or hint to where he could be found. But this had been standard practice- a short letter here, a postcard there, to let them know he was still there and he hadn't disappeared. He was just absent, for the time being. He send money to Alfred, for the animal's food and rent, and did what he could to avoid the mistakes he had made in the past. But now, now he was to come home. And come home he would.]

Brother dearest,
It's been far too long since I've left, but to say I regret the choice to partake in a simple flight of fancy would be fallacious. I do however hope you have not been too fretful of my prolonged departure -- In fact I am to return! Soon, at that. Here's to hoping you did not give my room away while I myself was away.

I have no way of gauging your reaction to my depart, or if you are even reading my cards and letters anymore. I merely hope to find you in good spirits when I return -- Which I promise you to be soon. I do not regret my leaving for these past few months, but I have come to realise a few very important things. About you. About us. I miss you, Emiliana. I hope you have not forgotten about me.

I am aware my absence in your office was sudden and unprompted, and this even more-so. However I am offically stating my intent to withdraw from the internship, if you have not yet pulled it out from under me. I apologize, but my life is no longer in the direction of psychoanalytics! I hope when I return we can be on good terms and maybe even catch a game or two.

I know we haven't spoken much, but I would like for that to change. I am aware what's occured between us has caused a tremendous amount of tension, however I want you to know I do not regret it. I consider you a very important part of my life, speaking terms or not. I hope to see you soon.
