(no subject)
so i haven't written in this in forever.
sadly this is the year where i can't go to maple. i don't like that rule but i can understand why its there, i think i would feel too old, though it would be great to see some of the people who are there. thats why im driving up on thursday (the last day) to pick up the kitchener kids for my mom's friend. hopefully i will get there in time to see people.
canada day was this past saturday, but i didn't really get any time to celebrate. i had to work at pita pit from 11-6 (ugh), and then my mom and i drove for three hours up to muskoka to go to the cottage! that was worth it. i haven't been to the cottage in about 5 years, and its such a cool place. i went tubing for the first time, and that was really fun. my brother also went tubing and flipped on his last turn. he loved it. i also got to drive our big pretty boat for the first time. jordan brought a friend up to keep him company, but sometimes they became too much to be around so i climbed up the cliffs. i haven't been up them since i was 10 and jennie and i and friends got in trouble for climbing without a parent with us. its gorgeous up there, amaing view of the lake.
summer is going pretty well, so far its been a good enough combination of working and relaxing. usually on my relaxing time i want to play volleyball, and that works out most of the time. my friend andy is also volleyball-obsessed and he and i try to get out on the court at least 3 times a week if we can. i have a few sort-of plans for trips this summer, none of the usual plans like laurel though. some weekend this summer my mom wanted to visit my aunt who lives in pittsburgh. and i would go along with her and get to hang out with natalie! very exciting for me. then some time mid-august, i think the 3rd weekend, i have to be all packed up because my family is going down to the jersey shore to stay with some friends and enjoy the beach and sun. then i sit around bryn athyn for about a week, and then school.
