(no subject)
today was a TERRIBLE day at work. i got in to work at 11 and it was a mess. no vegetables were prepped, the dishes weren't finished, there were bags and bags of garbage that needed to be taken out. our boss had come in to restock the coin box, he saw the mess and got mad at US (not the people who had closed) about how messy the store is. "you're all slackers, you guys don't work hard when kendra and i are around, nothing gets done when we leave" blah blah blah. so the three of us working worked so freakin hard today to get all the prep done, and it was busy today. holy. lunch rush, afternoon rush. i didn't get to eat today until 5:30. and then one of the girls who closed last night came in and tried to excuse how little they did. it was just a long, bad day. spilling sauces, holly accidentally pushing the door into me, etc, etc. I do give my two weeks notice tomorrow. That will be nice.
Yesterday was great though. Four hours of volleyball, 3-7. And I got on a good team. played middle, got some good hits in. it was great. then todd, andy and i went to east side mario's for dinner. that was a lot of fun. went back to todd's to hang out. went to the nearby convenience store to rent a movie and get some snacks. ended up playing a game called oxford dilemma where i would read he definition or description of a word, and todd and andy would try to figure out what the word was. yeah, i know from that decription it doesn't sound fun, but trust me, it was. I called home around 11 pm seeing about rides and if they would let me stay over cuz we still wanted to watch a movie and such, but my mom being mom said she didn't like how that would look, so she ended up picking me up around 1:30 in the morning from todd's to take me home. it'll be nice to get my driver's license, just one more lesson left then the test. finally won't have to rely on my parents anymore.
tuesday i head off to california. no idea what that will be like. hopefully i won't be annoyed by my mom the whole time. i still have to figure out what im gonna be doing there, i really don't want to spend the whole time sitting around where we're staying wondering what to do.
well i have to work tomorrow, then gotta start packing!
