(no subject)
Today was both productive and unproductive in its own special way. Got a call 10 minutes before our alarm went off, asking if I wanted to work from 10-2. Which I figured might happen, cause they did some weird scheduling. So, okay, I can't way no to four more hours on my paycheck. I workied, mostly on cash, lovely and boring. Thankfully no real idiots showed up today. Apparently yesterday there was a very exciting incident involving a shoplifter with a large knife and a bag of cocaine, police involvement and everything. ALways on my day off... Ooh, and I also arranged to work from 10-2 tomorrow instead of 11-3, so I'm off earlier and can see more of the tulip festival.
Then I had to go shopping. I needed to get a special request piece of clothing which is my present to Dan for our anniversary in exhange for him buying supper. No big gifts for us cause we're poor and don't know what to get the other. So, I found what I was looking for, and decided to wander around the mall.
Out of desperation for finding anything bigger than a size medium, I wandered into a shop called AdditionElle. I have decided I like this store. There were all kinds of clothes! That fit! And I now feel the same rush all you skinny girls feel, being able to find something my size of everything. Well, except for the tings that are all too big for me. I feel like a dork, but I really like being one of the smallest women in the store. I got two cute tees, neither of which are black (though one is grey. But there's pretty blue and silver detailing!). Don't *really* have the money for it, but after the blah day yesterday (besides the part when Dan was here) I needed some cheering up.
