5yr Anniversary was yesterday.....today I'm upset
I understand that Jason didn't have the money to get me anything or do anything for me on our anniversary. He said that we will celebrate on the weekend. I went ahead and gave him the present i bought/made. It was a really nice watch and a candy bouquet. I worked on that thing for over 3 hours not including the shopping weeks before. It turned out great and he really like it.
Today it was starting to rain and i found this out after i started to leave for work. I turned back around and parked the moped knowing i wouldn't make it. I called Jason and he said he was just leaving work. I was already late so i said i was just going to walk (with umbrella in hand). I had just crossed Avenue A (i block from where i work) Jason and his friend from work pull up at the stop light. Jason says, do you need a ride to work? The were both laughing. I continued to walk and turned down the alley where i cried all the way to the back door to work. It really hurt my feelings that they laughed. It was like they were laughing at the fact that i had to walk because it was raining. Thomas would be walking too if Jason wasn't nice enough to pick him up and take him home everyday.
I just don't understand why he can't respect and care for me. He obviously cares how Thomas gets to work.
Then Jason calls me at work and says i shouldn't be mad at him. That it was all and joke and in good fun. It wasn't to me.
Try walking to work a few times and see if you'll be laughing. Doubt it...
