Now that I have some time...

OK now that I can actually sit down and tell people about my weekend I will. Friday was really fun I basically ran around all day like a crazy person trying to get everything ready for Amanda's wedding that night and preparing for recruitment this week. Amanda's wedding was really nice, I am really happy that another one of my really close friends has tied the knot :) It actually gives me a little bit of hope that I may eventually find someone of my own... So I was pretty tired pretty early from running around all day and also feeling kinda down in the dumps not having a date to dance with or anyone to really keep me company. I took off kind of early and I felt pretty bad about it but I figured it was better than just being mopey or something. As I was driving home Carrie called me and asked what I was doing and I told her I was driving home she told me Ian, Smitty and Josh were having a party at their new house in Royal Oak and that I should come by. I decided to go for a bit not having the intention of staying long at all... Well, not staying long turned into me talking with Ian until 4 in the morning and then not really wanting to go home. So needless to say I stayed the night there, but we won't go into any details about that, lol. So I woke up at 11:30 the next day having only gotten about 4 hours of sleep and headed to Katie's so we could work on recruitment stuff... Well, I was the only person that showed up!!!!! Disappointing :( Her and I went and did some running around and picked up things from Micheal's and after that I headed off the Jess's for a spa thing that I ended up being an hour late for, oops, lol. That was fun, had a couple of margaritas and a bit of finger food, ordered some body shop stuff and took off to go back to Katie's for some more recruitment stuff. I think it went really well they were working on the picture boards behind me but I am pretty sure by the time I left they were almost all done which is awesome!!! I really want to go back tonight but I can't because I have a meeting at 7pm and a quiz to study for for tomorrow. I actually decided to go home Saturday night because I wanted to sleep in my own comfy bed and not a floor. The next day was interesting... Had to volunteer at the MTS Make a Wish dinner and auction. They did really well on the auction stuff and I got some cool things to take home :) It was definitely a little awkward at times but the majority was spent hanging out with the two coolest little girls ever!!! I had a good time being a babysitter for the day :) My night concluding with a depressing conversation while standing in the rain and a huge smack in the face of reality! Overall, a pretty good and satisfying weekend. Some parts I could have done without but I am happy with how things are.
Now it's time to put my focus on recruitment because starting tomorrow it once again and for the last time becomes my life for a week...
