So recently Yahoo.ca posted a story about a grandmother that walked into a restaurant bathroom and found $100,000 and actually gave it back to the owner of the money! How very honest. After this, they posed the question, What would you do if you found $10,000?
Imagine you're on your way to Banff and you stop at one of our many roadside rest stops. You walk into the bathroom and there in a stall is $10,000 in new $100 bills. No way to trace it, no one steps forward to claim it and it's all yours. The only rule is that you can't keep the money or spend it on yourself. It has to go to the benefit of someone else. What would you do with the money?
myself? There are so many places it would do good. I think I'd have to keep the money local though. So... $3000 to the local interfaith food bank (we are one of the riches cities in the country and it's unacceptable to me that we still have children starving), $3000 to the Women's emergency shelter (no one should have to choose between housing and their own safety) and the last $4000 would go to the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation - the only hospital in Canada the preforms vision saving surgery on kids.
SO there you go friend's list... what would you do?
