Back in Town!
Hello all,
Welcome to another installment of my travel diary. It's been awhile but I'm back in Europe...thank god for that. I really missed it here. If my family and friends lived here then life would be perfect...maybe one day.
So I got here on Saturday...sorry I'm using a German keyboard so my y's and apostrophe's will be mixed up every now and then...
Gesa my friend from Berlin, Julia, Torben and Tomas came to pick me up at the airport and they brought giant yellow signs that said "Grüß Gott Karly!" (Greetings in Bavarian German) and "She's Canadian Eh?" it was really cute...then we went back to Julia's and had traditional Bavarian breakfast, Bratwurst and sweet mustard with pretzels. Awesome. I slept and we went out for drinks together in the evening.
Sunday we went to the mountains! WOOO!
We walked around and it was fun, then we had a picnic by the lake...Schpitzingsee I think is about right for the name. It was lovely!
