Camping in Jalama
went camping with my family over the weekend in Jalama. It was supposed to rain all weekend, but fortunately didn't. Ok, so when we get there and set up, the surf is BEAUTIFUL-clean-and the weather is sunny and nice. I'm staring at the ocean (as you do), and SPOT A WHALE!!!!! so a pod of whales go by for the next half hour or so-bloody fantastic! We finish setting up and end up walking on the beach and seeing the sunset. I loved watching surfers (did it all weekend!). Had a fired and roasted S'mores! mmm mmm yum.
The next day, it was gray, but only sprinkled/rain a little (fortunately. it was supposed to all weekend but it didnt! sweeeet.) SO that was the first time my dads tried surfing, good times. The rest of the avo, I layed on the beach and listened to music. Wasn't the sunniest or warmest, but there were a couple surfers to watch adn the ocean's always beautiful. I walked around the beach. Later, we saw some dolphins go by! Then, my family and I played games and such.
Today, we packed up. Dad and I went for another surf-he got to his knees! GO DAD! I actually got some sweet rides (with a drop, turn and ride, not just little rides! yahoooo!). It was a beautifully sunny day today. We had Jalama burgers for lunch, which were pretty good and now I'm home!
Oh! I get to quit Giavanni's! I talked to Majestic Recording (a recording studio in Orcutt) and they're going to work out an internship type thing with me! sweeeeeet eh? Good weekend.
