(no subject)
After hearing about the comet, me and Josh thought we'd go up to the roof to watch it. It was pretty cool, actually. We could even see it through the streetlights.
We used to do a lot of astronomy when we lived in the country, but ever since we moved back to Edmonton we haven't seen as many stars. I always like going back out at night so that it looks like the sky is painted.
Anyways, we saw the comet- it was really bright and gorgeous, even with the artificial light. It looked like there were a lot of other people watching it too- it is Thursday night. People start getting drunk early here, which is probably why they were stumbling so much. I saw a guy almost get hit by a car a few blocks down. Whoops!
Anyways, I'll probably be up late tonight, especially because I have to keep Prince in here with me to keep him from barking. And even then he keeps doing it. Oy, why do we have such a neurotic dog?
Oooh, BPAL update! Anyone have $49 I can borrow? There's an Inquisition on and I am really liking the look of the scents they have to represent Summer.
