Missionary Air Group

I'm just getting back from attending this session at the Nashua airport diner about this group that is trying to raise money for their missionary efforts in Central America and Africa. I so felt the need to briefly blog about it. The presentation was moving. A small group of people are providing air ambulance services to the remote corner of Honduras and Zambia. It was by chance that I read about it in today's telegraph see link http://tinyurl.com/azavvo.

I briefly spoke to the organizer and i'll probably do some volunteer work in their office in the near future on my days off.

::Edit:: So what I like about this project is that there's really nothing religious about it just a good deed, people helping other people. In the past when I used to think about Missionary work, it dealt with religion etc. Although these folks do have a faith of some sort they don't really push it. Apparently in Central America you must have a good relationship with the community before you can even go that route.
