Worked last night.
First time I have worked for New Years, but it wasn't half bad.
We has a few drinks ourselves, which were free. Pat was hilarious, and the other guy (who is a friend of Pat, and was volunteering because we needed more people) was named Matt, and looked like Edward Norton, so he was very very pretty.
Only depressing part was midnight, when everyone was together, and us three bar tenders were just standing there...and cleaning. But, I got over that quickly. Plus, there was fillet mignon for dinner. yumm.
Plus, I made a lot of money. Double time, and tips. Ended up working out to 30$/ hour for 10.5 hour night. Not shabby. Not sure if I would do it again next year, depends where everyone is.
