I think I'm still recovering from last night's food hangover. Brad and I did our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday; we always do it on the Sunday even though Monday is technically the holiday, because I can't imagine doing all that work and eating such a big meal and then having to get up and go to work the next day. So, with the in-school mentoring program, I will only meet my mentee for one hour a week during school time, never outside of school. Big Brothers Big Sisters has other programs with community mentors who take the kids on outings and stuff, but not the one I'm part of. But it should still be nice and give me the chance to form an ongoing relationship with my mentee, since it's one hour a week for the whole school year. (At the end of the year, we decide if we want the match to continue for the following school year or not, based on the kid's needs and all.)
It seriously is. I'm glad you liked the pictures! And yes, we pretty much fell in love with the cottage as soon as we got there last year, so there was never any question that we were going to pick the same place this year. I am really really looking forward to it!
