Cafe Crepe :)

I feel your pain when it comes to looking younger than you are - although sometimes it does work to our advantage - it's frustrating because often I feel as though I'm not being taken seriously because people think I'm younger than I am. I haven't been mistaken as a teen in a long time, but I usually hear that I look 23. I mean, I'd rather look younger than older for sure, but I also want to be taken seriously.
Gender stereotypes irk me more as I get older too. While I was out for breakfast this morning I saw a little girl toting a baby doll and it sparked a conversation between a friend and I about that very topic.

I've been slacking when it comes to reading and I'm starting to feel the urge to devote an entire day to reading and sipping tea under comfy blankets...but I feel as though it should be raining when I do so :)

Yes, I can't believe it's August already, but on the bright side Autumn is my favourite season, and it also means the concert is coming! (let me know if/when you purchase tickets so I can transfer the money to you!)

Ahh, right, thank you!!

Yeah, I get it all the time at work, that people think I'm "so young" to be a psychologist already. I never know what to say to that. I went to grad school, I've got my degrees, and I've been doing this job for over 3 years now. Sure, I'm still early in my career but everyone is at some point. And then people always tell me, oh you'll love looking young when you get older/when you're in your 40s/when blah blah blah, but so far I'm not seeing a whole lot of advantages. :-/

Fall is definitely my favorite season too! I'm just not ready for summer to be over and to have to go back to work yet. ;)

Oh, will do! I'll have to look it up again, make sure it hasn't sold out already, but I will keep you posted. :)
