Okay, so I've been well, slacking on putting together a wedding album. As in, I have done nothing towards making one. I had a few prints made in the spring, but that was mainly because I knew I'd need some of the pictures for my PR application. So, the other day there was a groupon that was $15 for $50 worth of photo albums from mixbook. I figured

I could also help with it depending on when you want it done. My mom and I are going on vacation on Saturday and I won't be back until the end of the month. So if you wanted it done ASAP I'm not your gal, but if it's more of a "for Christmas" thing, I could definitely help.

Oh no, there's definitely no rush on this, especially seeing as I'm just now getting around to it over a year after the wedding. :p I emailed Kit about it last night after she commented, so maybe I'll wait and see what she wants to do, and then have you help with the rest. I had our pictures printed from winkflash.com, I ordered about 200 prints... because they had (at the time) the best deal on 5x7 pictures, so my favorite pictures I ordered in the bigger size, and the other ones in 4x6. I also raided the dollar general for all their $1 wedding-stickers because the scrapbook stickers at Michaels were so expensive :) I did get some wedding scrapbook stickers from Michaels too, and a pack of pretty cardstock that I put behind/between/beside the pictures. I didn't finish putting together our album until Valentine's Day the following year, it takes time!

Oh, I know it definitely takes time. I have a scrapbook of our relationship that I work on very sporadically. I think right now it only covers up to mid-2008 or maybe New Year's 2009, because I have to REALLY be in the mood to work on it. And yeah, it's clearly not up to date, lol. I don't know, I think scrapbooking is really not my thing. I get inspired and want to work on it once in awhile . . . but it's really not very often.

Man, we haven't done ours either. We did the ones for our parents, funny enough, but wanted a bigger one for us, with more photos. Do you remember reading about à la carte Albums? I'm thinking about giving them a go.

I did read about a la carte albums, I'd actually bookmarked their page with the intent to try them at some point, whenever I got around to thinking about making our album. :p But then I saw the groupon for mixbook and thought I'd just try that route. However . . . their site was kind of irritating and frustrating me last night, so if it becomes too much of a hassle, I'll just re-sell the groupon to someone else and check out a la carte.
