Day 21- One of your favorite shows.
Day 22- How have you changed in the past two years.
Day 23- Give pictures of five famous people you find attractive.
Day 24- Your favorite movie and what it's about.
Day 25- Someone who fascinates you and why.
Day 26- What kind of person attracts you.
Day 27- A problem that you have had.
Day 28- Something that you miss.
Day 29- Goals for the next thirty days.

1. Complete and submit my permanent resident application. This is partially dependent on me getting my tax refund in the next thirty days so that I can afford the $450 application fee, but as long as I have the money, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to do this.
2. Lose some weight. It kind of pains me to say this, because I've never been one to worry about my weight . . . but I had some serious muffin top action going on this morning when I tried to put on one pair of pants. I think I finally have to admit that the mostly sedentary lifestyle I have now means that I have gained some weight, and if I don't want to continue that, I probably need to make an effort to be more active.
3. Make an eye doctor appointment and go for a check up.
4. Get a Canadian credit card. This is kind of cheating, because we've already been approved for a secured card; we just actually have to provide the funds and then they'll mail us the card. But that can be done as soon as I get the money from my US tax refund, which Kristian paypalled to me today, so I should have it in a week or so.
5. Knit things for Kelly and Sarah, since both of their birthdays are this month. I have small things planned for each of them that should be no trouble to finish, but maybe something bigger as well. Also, I would like to finish the damn scarf that I've been working on forever. Then I can put it in the closet and forget about it until winter comes back, and move on to other fun projects.
6. Read Year of the Flood, For Better, and Let's Panic about Babies, at a minimum.
7. Work goals: Complete six assessments, write eight reports. There's some leeway on this, as the reports can take a little longer, but the assessments absolutely need to be done in that time.
8. Figure out what I'm doing with myself this summer, whether it's babysitting or something else.

Currently, I am enjoying the crap out of a house all to myself, since Brad went out with the guys to see Fast 5. Which is perfectly fine by me, since Glee is on in 15 minutes and now I can watch in peace. It is so rare for me to have the house to myself, so I am definitely reveling in it. Also, I have a few ideas simmering for a mix CD, which should be fun, since I haven't made one in at least a couple years, if not longer. I think I'm going to have to return my second book club book unfinished, since it's due at the library tomorrow and it couldn't be renewed because of holds on it. It hadn't fully grabbed me yet, but I was going to give it more of a chance, except I'm not really willing to pay a fine for it, so back it goes. Ah well. Just means I can jump into the other books I know I want to read.

So in keeping with my losing weight/being more active goal, I have a question for all of you who work out regularly. How can I get myself into a routine with it? We have an elliptical, but I have not managed to get into any kind of routine with it. On a good week, I'll use it twice (there may have been one week where I did it three times), but on a bad week . . . I'll go two weeks without using it at all. Clearly this is not helping. Brad had suggested that I make myself get up earlier and do it before I shower and get ready for work, which I've been reluctant to do since I already get up at 6:30 and I do enjoy my sleep. But is that my best bet? Any other suggestions for how I can make myself keep at this? Thanks in advance, friends.

Okay, time to get ready for Glee! ♥
