your freezing speech bubbles seem to hold your words aloft

Day 01- Your current relationship, if single discuss how single life is, etc.
Day 02- Where you'd like to be in ten years.

Hmm, ten years. That is a long time! Well, let's see. In ten years, I will be 36 years old. By that point, I would like to be done having children, so hopefully I will have two before then. Brad and I will be able to celebrate 10 years of marriage, which will be a really cool thing, and makes me happy just thinking about. I would certainly hope we'd have gotten a dog well before then, and that Aphrodite and said dog would be getting along well. Who knows, maybe there'd even be other pets in ten years! Professionally, I'd hope to still be enjoying my job, and to have registered with the College of Psychologists. It would be nice if we were able to buy our own house within ten years, so that would probably be pretty cool. I'd like to have made a serious dent in paying back my student loans, because I doubt they'd be completely paid off in ten years. I'd like to be financially comfortable - savings account(s), money set aside for our children's education, retirement funds, etc. I'd like to have traveled with Brad - taken a honeymoon, gone on vacations together, seen places in the world that we've always wanted to. Oh, and duh, I'd certainly expect to be a Canadian citizen by the time ten years have passed! :p

Yeah, I think that's about as much as I can hope for for ten years from now! It'll certainly be interesting to see where I am at that point, and how my life will have changed from how it is now.

That's all for today, I think. Time to go devour more tasty Margaret Atwood! :) (Reading Oryx and Crake right now, and loving it!)
