A Day In My Life
On Sunday, May 18th, Sammy and I had decided on taking a little road trip down to Syracuse for a little shopping. This is our fun!
Not so good morning! I hate waking up early on my days off, regardless of the reason why.
Time check! I'm officially half an hour behind. I wanted to be leaving around 7:30.
Potty break
Brush the teeth
Choose what I'm wearing for the day. If I cared less, I probably would have swapped my jeans for my track pants considering how long we were going to be in the car that day.
Make myself stink pretty
Attempt at making myself ready to face the world.
All ready to go!
Get a text message from Sam, saying good morning (with the less obvious reason of making sure I was up).
Check on my betta that has been extremely sick looking for the past little while.
Quick email/Facebook check
Change my status
Pack up my purse and throw a couple DVD's into a bag with my DVD player and the directions in case we get sick of listening to music.
Time check! Time to leave!
Say good-bye to Socks

Hello car! (It's the black one, by the way).
Stop at the bank to deposit some money
Hop on the 417 (the highway running through Ottawa)
Music selection, cause I'm a super nerd like that.
Woo! 416 exit! (the 416 turns into the 401 and eventually takes us in the direction of Toronto, etc.)
Text Sam to let her know I'm now on the 416
Double check the directions to make sure I know which exit to take and where to go off the highway
Successfully got lost a couple times, so I pulled over to text message Sam and get myself headed in the right direction again

Sam was extremely impressed by this outfit. And by impressed, I mean she couldn't stop laughing at it.

I fell in love with this snow globe, but didn't even bother pricing it because I didn't want to have to cringe at the price.
Sam stops in a comic book store to inquire about the Coheed and Cambria comics that go with their CD's. I spot this gaming area at the back of the store and laugh at the randomness of it.
The mall seems to be emptying quickly, so we head out too
Time check when we make it back to the car
(We put Sam's new Coheed and Cambria CD in, but I forgot to take a picture of that)
We begin our journey home
It starts to pour about half way back to Watertown
Made it successfully
Stupid wiper got in the way. We went to Applebee's for supper.
Pee break right after we get our table
Cherry limeade for me, Cosmopolitan for Sammy.
Our yummy supper! Salmon, rice and veggies for me, penne and chicken for Sammy.
Mmmm, dessert. Hot fudge sundae shooter for me, apple something shooter for Sammy.
We get back to the car and my car tells me to feed it too.
So I do!
Time check as we hit the road again
(We threw my new Metro Station CD in, but I forgot to take a picture of that too).

We are extremely impressed that we only spoke to the gaurd for about 30 seconds and we're sent on our way.
We geek it up and listen to Garth Brooks most of the way home from there.

Get home and grab my loot from the backseat (as well as the three bags I stashed in the trunk).

Home, Jeeves!
I walk in the door and get sniffed by Falcor (the white one), greeted/yelled at by Socks (the black and white one) and mauled by Titan (the black and slightly brown one).
Pee break after dumping my bags on my bed.
(Insert half an hour of my putting my stuff away and chatting with my sister and her boyfriend while my battery recharges a bit).
Two of my purchases, I love them!
Shower time!
All clean!

Do a little bit of internetting
Say good night to Titan
And a good night to Socks

Set my alarms (and yes, I do mean mulitple alarms).
