Well, I went and had to have a panic attack on my birthday, during my party, didn't I?

Thankfully, it was a short one, and Nick, Lisa and Maddie helped me through it.

But other than that, my birthday was fantastic.

Rewind... on Thursday, Nick and I went to see The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Because it was ten in the morning and Gold Class to boot, we were the only ones in the cinema. It was awesome. Also, the movie was great. I'm in love with whoever remembered that Spider-Man has a sense of humour. Electro was brilliant, and the action scenes of him shooting lightning while Spidey is web slinging around it is everything I wanted from this movie. Also, I totally need to get the soundtrack for this movie because who knew that dubstep could work as a score for a film? I also must applaud the film because yes, there are three villains in it, but THIS is how it should be done, not like how Spider-Man 3 did it.

There was something that I kept laughing at that I felt like I shouldn't have, and that was the fact that Peter Parker kept seeing Captain Stacy's ghost giving him sour looks whenever he was thinking of getting Gwen involved in the dangerous Spidey-business. I had to laugh because OOOOOOH THE GHOST OF DENNIS LEERY IS FOOOOLLOWING YOOOOOU!

Am I hyped for the Sinister Six? Hells yeah!

5 out of 5, would watch again.

After the movie, Nick took me dress shopping as the second part of my birthday gift. I got a little black dress and a silver leaf necklace. It's so pretty. <3

My pirate party, panic attack aside, was fun. I managed to get organized enough to get a 'pin the eye patch on the parrot' and pass the parcel game together. People enjoyed both.

List of Gifts

- Movie
- Dress, necklace and stockings
- fancy chocolate
- nail polish (with thin brushes so I can do fancy designs on my nails)
- money to buy clothes - I've gotten myself two pairs of new jeans and a pair of boots with it, and I'm probably going to spend the rest of Achievement Hunter shirts.
- Cthulhu dice game
- bottle of muscato
- cheque from grandparents - probably going to go towards movies that have come out that I want to buy
- Gold Class movie vouchers. We're hoping to see Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men Days of Future past and/or How to Train Your Dragon 2.

There's still a few gifts yet to come, I think. I splurged and bought myself a pair of good quality vampire fangs to use for RP.

And I'm sick. Again. This time, it's a runny nose and such. :(

Random Quote:

O hail to you, Chieftain of the Iron Wood folk;
Yours is the rulership kept strong with your will.

O hail to you, mother who gave birth to Death;
Yours is the spear that never errs in flight.

O hail to you, wrathful one, maker of sorrows;
Yours is the furious rage that gives no quarter.

O hail to you, mother of wolf and serpent;
Yours is the love shown in strength and firmness.

O hail to you, defender of Jarnvidr;
Yours is the courage that does not doubt itself.

O hail to you, wise Hag of the holy forest;
Yours is the knowledge that is ancient and depthless.

O hail to you, sorceress-queen reborn by magic;
Yours is the heart that can never be destroyed.
