Too Much
If I had the power, I would give this planet one year where there were no natural disasters. No OMG!epic floods, no cyclones, no earthquakes or tornadoes, etc. I hope that won't mess things up too much, but it'll sure give us a break. One wonderful year where we can focus on other things. This really is shaping up to be a hell of a year. It's too much. My thoughts are with Japan, NZ, and QLD.
I'm seriously thinking of putting together a quiz night to raise funds for these disasters. Anyone willing to back me up? Like, if I did this, would people even bother to go? Would you help me organize a room, contacting those in charge to get the donated money to where it's needed, and help with prizes? Most importantly, would you donate generously?
And to everyone out there, doesn't matter if you're tolling or not, when you say that the earthquakes and everything is God taking revenge on that particular country, you can just shut the hell up. It's not funny, and it's not cool. It's extremist BS like that that turned me atheist.
In completely unrelated news, Deadliest Warrior is doing zombies vs. vampires, with Max Brooks and the dude who wrote 30 Days of Night as experts. I like Max Brooks better, but there's nothing sexy about being eaten by zombies.
