Fun and Games
Lots to post about tonight.
I've just about gotten the last of my birthday gifts, save for two or three left to go.
- Lochy and Zach took me underwear shopping. I got two new bras and four new panties. (Including one that has an elastic that sucks in my stomach. I'm going to wear it with the little black dress.) It was fun getting new stuff - and frankly, it was needed also. Nick approves of the ones Zach picked out for me. ^_^
- I also got some d10's (don't know if I mentioned that before) for role playing. They roll pretty well.
- I used the $13 left on one of my JB-HiFi vouchers to get Death at a Funeral which I had seen in theaters when I was still dating Davide. Nick and I really liked it. It's the British version - which I think will be better than the American version. I'm going to rent the American version to compare the two some day.
- Paul got me a librarian action figure (I kid you not) because of my Spirit of the Century librarian character. We finished up his campaign this week, and it was a lot of fun. Nick is going to start another campaign soon, which will be basically Spirit of the Century IN SPACE!!! I'm playing a Wonderdog. XD
- Friend Sue and Peter got me $20 for Hoyts, so I can go to see another movie sometime. I think I'll save it for Toy Story 3.
I still have some birthday money left over too. I'm proud. ^_^
Mom gave me money to get new winter PJ's too. I got warm snuggy ones from Target.
My mom and Cathy are going to meet Nick's mom this weekend coming up. Nick and I are a little nervous... but hopefully they'll stay away from anxious topics like teaching and Nick and I job hunting.
I spent the weekend over at Nick's. It was very nice. There was a lot of cuddling, because it's been cold.
The Doctor Who episode this week was good. Very mind-twisty. Because a lot of it took place in the TARDIS, I'm pondering writing a TARDIS fic.
The next Deadliest Warrior is the Nazis vs. the Viet Cong. XD
And it's TGWTG's 2 year anniversary. ^_^ Lots of fun to be had there too.
