Summer
You can say what you want about winter up here, and yeah, I agree with most of it - it's bitterly cold and way too long - but once summer finally comes, it's sure beautiful. Five hours of semi-dark a night and then the sun's up before 4:00 am and it's just beautiful for the rest of the day. And I live on a freaking lake. I mean, seriously, you could through a stone from my back porch and hit the water. Of course, I still miss Vancouver desperately at times, but this summer is just as great once it's here, and almost no rain. I certainly don't miss rain.

1) Money - I mean it's why people move here, right?
2) Living closer to my parents
3) Crystal Lake
4) Summer
5) Almost no rain - yay!
Now, since it's a public holiday, I think I'm going to go find out when the public swim is and toddle off to the pool.
It's supposed to be 23 today - just about right - and perfect for the outdoor pool.
