I just found out that one of my friends is a closeted QAF fan. I was so excited to have someone I know in RL with whom to squeal over B/J! As my luck would have it, it turns out that he not only doesn't like Brian (blasphemy!), but ETHAN was his favourite. Also, "Justin is all right, but I don't know what the hell he's doing with that asshole Brian. He's obviously with him for his good looks, and that's all. I mean, what other redeeming qualities does Brian have?"
I don't think I've ever been so outraged in my life. I spluttered incoherently for about half an hour, trying to explain the Holy Brian/Justin Love, but I guess that it's just one of those things where if you don't see it, then there's really no way to explain it to you. Believing in B/J is like believing in God! Only way sexier.
So, said friend has only seen the beginning of S4. And while I'm all, "Oh, wait 'til you see all the B/J angst mid-season!", all he cares about is what happened with TED and BLAKE. My friend is so lame. Will have to reconsider this friendship. And to think I was wishing one of my friends would watch the show. The perfect example of 'Be careful what you wish for'.
Also, I just watched Y tu mamá también, and, whoah, way hot. Especially the last sex scene, which in my opinion should have lasted a lot longer. I think Alfonso Cuaron is officially one of my favourite directors.
