I was ranting at Treyu and Tohim on IRC before I realized that it'd be much easier to just make a post about it! There isn't a word limit, for instance!
I mean, not one I could meet anyway.
SO. First of all it's Father's Day! I think I accidentally freaked dad out when I entered his bedroom this morning and deadpanned 'Congratulations, you're a father'. NEWSFLASH, DADDY. I live at home and have no boyfriend, you did not MYSTERIOUSLY become a grandfather okay, relax.
Anyway, Chris brought his girlfriend to brunch. His 19yo girlfriend. I'd be okay with this if she wasn't slightly manic, flightly, retarded and oh, also TEN YEARS HIS JUNIOR. Well, and if it weren't FATHER'S DAY. Pls don't date people younger then your siblings, Chris. It makes us twitchy and ugh ugh so does FEEDING EACH OTHER OKAY (gag).
ZANE BOUGHT ME A HELLO KITTY SHIRT. And a Pokemon one which I am less enthused and more o_O about because ....uh. Pokemon? I think Zane lives vicariously through me sometimes; it's hard to find Hello Kitty clothing in Really Big Guy sizes you know.
Oh also I think maybe I just generically look like I work places? IDK, I'm in our comic book store, wearing an (admittedly awesome) Shutter-shade-wearing Hello Kitty shirt and clearly visible headphones just browsing through the comics when I notice this lady standing in front of me. She must have been there, like, a minute. I pulled out an earphone and she goes, I shit you not, "Excuse me, do you work here?"
No. No I really do NOT work there. I ALSO do not work at the bookstore, the clothing store, Walmart, a shoe store, Canadian Tire, the music store, and finally the restaurant where I am sitting down to brunch with my family (WHY are you asking ME where the bathrooms are?!?!?!).
