I've been wanting to try painting glass or acrylic or whatever kinda like how traditional animation was done, except I painted on the same side. The clear phone case was my opportunity, and it turned out pretty good for my first ever attempt. 👍 I dunno if I should have primed the surface somehow, or if it's just how acrylic paint acts on this material, because it didn't adhere well with brush strokes. It took layers and dabbing for opaque color...
But I like it! I love Donald Duck, and his design is simple enough I was confident in tracing it, although my paint marker was a wee bit too thick, and I did have to go with a toothpick and rubbing alcohol to thin done lines. (The downside of Donald is he's a very recognizable character, so any mistakes would be very noticeable.)
