Day 243 - 08.31.09
We went to the mall yesterday and as we were parking I spotted this car. It was the plate that caught my attention first, then I saw the reason behind the plate. Not a great picture as it was take with Chris' iPhone, but at least one of us had something to take a picture with!
******************************** The mall was a successful (expensive) trip. We finally got new bath towels. We've had our old ones since we moved in together over 6 years ago. Time for some new ones. I got sage green so you just know that I'm about all green-ed out with the nursery, our bed spread and now bathroom linens. That was the only colour I really liked out of the selection. Which was limited but I knew these were the towels I had to have. I'm pretty particular about my towels which is why it has taken so long to get new ones.
Before towels we stopped by COACH where Chris bought me a new scarf for my diaper bag. Then we stopped by Bath and Body Works where I got some hand soap. 8 for $20, great deal!
After the mall we stopped for lunch at Cosi and then stopped by Old Navy where I picked up a couple pairs of jeans to hide my saggy belly skin. I also got some spaghetti strap tanks (nursing = layers for modesty), a top, and a pair of cropped pants for walking.
Today Chris is at work. Tyler slept from 915pm to just after 7am. Almost 10 hours! He's napping now in his swing. I went to bed early myself. I was in bed by 945 and asleep by 10ish so I feel great today. I've been working through laundry, cleaned the kitchen, and I have more things to do like paying bills but I don't want to be upstairs too long as Tyler will be waking from his morning nap soon. They seriously need to make two-way monitors. He sleeps upstairs (night) and downstairs (day) so I need to have them in both places!
