Day 132 - 05.12.09
Looks like we're not the only ones expecting around here. This is the first tree in my back yard. It shows up in a lot of the pictures I take of the girls being silly. The past couple days I've noticed a male robin flitting around our yard and this tree. So today I pulled my camera out and had to hold it as high as possible to take a blind picture inside the opening and this is what I saw when I checked the picture.
The female looked quite cozy and it seems that her mate is taking good care of her. Just like my mate, Chris keeps bringing me chocolate. Better than the worm I saw the male bringing to the nest earlier.
Below is a shot further back. You can see the rather large gap they've made in the tree.
