Just a quicky before I head to the airport
My turkey is thawing in a cold water bath. I have one apple pie made and the cornbread casserole. The apple pie is really pretty looking but has so much juice! I still have the pumpkin pie, squash and cranberries to do tonight as well as prep my bread for stuffing. That will have to wait as I can't start any of that since I'll be heading out soon.
I have one bathroom left to clean and the house will be DONE. And by done I mean the pictures are on the walls, the beds have the bedding I like on them, most of the furniture is here. I still have to tackle my boxes from Canada and with that my china and crystal. I'll do the dishes between prep work tomorrow so we can eat off them for Turkey day. I'd really like to scrub my floors but that will have to wait until after house guests. Ok, so house isn't DONE but it is done enough.
I'm off to clean the bathroom and shower before hitting the road. We're leaving in little over half an hour to pick up Lisa and Chris. Jermain should be arriving soon too. Then back to the kitchen before bed. Yay!
