Hmm
Let's see where we left off...
The plumbers didn't show until Monday. Yay. Took the guy all of 5 minutes to fix the toilet. The girls weren't impressed that I shoved them into Puff's crate, but really the guy was bent over my toilet, he didn't need the girls clamoring all over him too.
Audrey is looking at the puppy next door from the upstairs window. It's very cute. She's missing all the action at the side of the house that is behind us as a bird is flying in and out of the dryer vent obviously building a nest.
Saturday the Hooches came up to watch the season premier of The Tudors. The show looks all naughty and pretty as always. Then we went for dinner at Mi Casa Su Casa before coming back here where we played a Wii game, Scattergories, and chatted. It was fun and too long since the three of us spent an evening like that together.
Sunday I procrastinated then made a lemon meringue pie and some mustard sauce. Then I loaded up some serving stuff into the car and headed to Lisa's where she hosted a really nice Easter dinner. She made lots of yummy dishes, plus Candace and I brought a couple. Along with the ladies and their hubbies, Sabrina and Chuck were there. I had been having a miserable couple days missing Chris and being the only single among the 3 couples was a challenge. Still it was such a nice relaxed evening and I didn't have to drive 3 hours to get there. Always a bonus.
Monday and Tuesday I was feeling under the weather. I spent most of my time reading and such. Yuck. Monday I did get my book order that had my #2 and #3 from the Twilight series. I'm holding off on reading them until after the book club meeting. Tuesday evening was an FRG meeting that went well. Audrey came along and sat in laps and sniffed around.
Wednesday I subbed for Sabrina in her pre-kindergarten class. Her kids are great but busy! Then I was wiped out the rest of the evening. I went to bed early last night and had this nightmare that lasted pretty much the whole entire night. I eventually wasn't so afraid of it and kept wanting it to continue so I could see how it would end. I don't know how to explain it but it just seemed like I was watching a movie I was a part of. Very strange.
And today. Chris called a couple hours ago. I'm about to head out for a bit before my date. Then it will be getting pulled together and off to the first book club meeting for the new group. I hope it goes well. We had a great first book and I'm looking forward to discussing it.

I just have to add that yesterday when I got home from work Chris had stayed up until after midnight to say hi to me online before going to sleep. What a sweetie. I can't wait to have him back here again.
